Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Chris bad ass truck - 1997 Ford F-150
By Stopher - January 26 - 2:00 amBought 2 yrs old w/ 21K miles. Love it but had some problems w/ it that shouldnt have happend w/ low miles. 50K replaced upper/lower ball joints. 52K replaced U-joints. 54K needed 1st tuneup w/ new plugs/wires. 55K replaced calipers, due to seizing up, ruining brakes & rotors (Ford just replaced brakes 15K miles ago & wouldnt cover). I currently have 59K on it. I baby it & dont drive much & maintain in accordance w/ owners manual. Fuel mileage sucks. 13 mpg City, 15 trip. When I tow sleds (not often), 9-10 mpg. I have extended 7yr 100K warranty which Ford dealership sold me, but it basically covers nothing! Great ride!

Quality, Job#2 - 1998 Ford F-150
By Luvfastbikes - January 25 - 2:00 amSince then, Ive had several warning lights burn out in the dash, the rear leaf springs have broken twice (and no, I havent exceeded the manufacturers limits), a couple of engine electrical glitches, malfunctioning factory alarm system, occasional smoke on start-up, and some brake problems. Would I buy another Ford truck? Maybe, but it would definitely be a new one, to ensure maximum warranty duration to iron out the glitches before it comes out of my pocket...

My Truck - 1992 Ford F-150
By F1501625 - January 24 - 2:00 amThe 5.0L has plenty of power after you put some aftermarket parts on it. Like headers, flowmaster mufflers, and lower it for decent handling. bad thing is, the engine is not very economic. right now im probably getting 14-16 MPG on highway. ive installed a few performance upgrades and im very satisfied with the truck, holds up well under competition. The transmission has much to be desired, it has delayed shifting at high RPMs, and the aluminum gears arent the best for racing. the truck is light, and powerful.

HANDS DOWN BEST TRUCK! - 1997 Ford F-150
By PAUL LOTTON - January 23 - 2:00 amI HAVE TO SAY THAT AFTER HAVING THREE DODGES AND ONE CHEVEY, THIS TRUCK IS THE BEST VEHICLE I HAVE EVER OWNED! I HAVE A 97 F-150 THAT HAS OVER 185,000 MILES AND I MUST SAY THAT MAINTANACE IS ALMOST NON-EXISTANT. I HAVE ONLY KEPT THE OIL CHANGES UP AND I HAVE GIVEN IT YEARLY TUNE-UPS AND THATS IT. THIS TRUCK IS ALL ORIGINAL RIGHT DOWN TO THE FUEL PUMP! MY ONLY COMPAINT IS THAT THE 4.6 LITER V-8 IS A BIT OF A GAS HOG.

Dependable Truck - 1994 Ford F-150
By unclejimbob - January 22 - 2:00 amThis has been a great truck for nine years - no major problems at all. I had the I-6 engine, which was proven through decades of service before, and the reliability shows it. Im upgrading to a larger truck now, only because I want to pull a large horse trailer and carry a camper.

Best Truck Ever - 2005 Ford F-150
By Jason Shinn - January 20 - 10:00 amOrdered this truck exactly the way I wanted it and after picking it up I soon realized it was even better than I expected. The ride is so smooth and quiet I almost forget Im in a truck. My 5.4ltr has 500lbs of torque and does whatever I want it to and begs for more. Ford did an unbelievable job on the quality including the fit and finish. I just cant say enough about how pleased I am with this truck. I hghly recommend it!!!
