Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

My Ford - 2000 Ford F-150
By hoonf - May 22 - 2:00 amI bought my 2000 F-150 XLT extended cab 4 x 4 in Nov 1999. It has been used for work, play and travel. It goes when other vehicles are setting. It is one of the best vehicles I have ever bought and I buy my fair share. I would recommend this truck to anyone.

Lost Love - 2014 Ford F-150
By Todd C NY - May 15 - 11:16 amIve been a Ford guy for last 30 years. I really liked my truck. Purchased it the last year they had with the steel body. I have always hated the fact that the tires that the truck comes with is only good for 35K miles. Been a real pain and I feel they are pulling one over on you personally. Due to job change, I dont drive mine much, but still keep it around. Ended up having to get $1,000 with or tires at 20K miles due to an alignment problem. I asked Ford about it and they just told me "sorry, maintenance is expensive". My issue isnt the maintenance. My issue is that the "Ford tough" motto is absolutely crap when the mechanic tells me he recommends getting an alignment check every 6 months because even hitting a pothole can throw your alignment off. Really? Ive never in 30 years had that issue. So its "built Ford tough" until you hit a pothole in a Ford truck. There isnt anything "tough" about that, sorry.

Unbiased Review! - 2002 Ford F-150
By Pete Mills - May 15 - 2:00 amThis review is brought to you by an owner of both a 2001 Chevy Silverado 4DR/4WD and a 2002 Ford F150 SCREW. I love my Ford more than my Chevy. However the Chevy is more comfortable the seats just feel better. The Chevy has better power however the Ford has a smoother Transmission. The Chevy drivers door molding began to fall apart 3 weeks into ownership i.e. the speaker fell out and the lock slide fell off. Pretty cheap design. The Ford has been great it only has 3800 miles on it since August its my weekend Truck.

not that shabby - 1997 Ford F-150
By kboz - May 13 - 2:00 amnot all the F-150s break down. I bought mine used with 90k miles on it, now have it up to 112k. Never have had engine problems. Only things were new tires, passenger side window motor replaced, battery replaced at 100k, taillights replaced. Rides a little rough b/c of worn down suspension. V6 is lousy for quick power needs, go with a V8. Interior is plain, nothing great about it, but for a good truck overall it cant be beat.

I have had to replace one coil on plug and sometimes have an injector that gets plugged but a little injector cleaner and she runs great! I love the torque of the 5.4 and the trucks rides nd tracks wel on the road. I would buy another and recommend to anyone.
