could have been better - 2005 Ford F-150
By trucker - July 20 - 5:10 am9000 miles and front brakes chatter, dealer says thats just the way it is. He seems to think I abuse it as Im 60 years old. Never pulled a trailer with it and drive like a normal person. Doors sound like they are full of nuts and bolts driving over a rough road, again thats just the way it is. Salesman says i should have driven it over a rough road before I bought it, however he was good enough to offer to take it on trade for a 05 model. Something funny going on with the gas gauge as it took 30 minutes for it to register full after the last fill up. Gets 16 mpg around town and 17 on road.

2004 Lariat Supercrew - 2004 Ford F-150
By Paige kehrer - July 14 - 5:56 pmThis is the best Ford truck I have owned in overall quality and ride. The gas mileage for the 5.4 motor is great (17.5-18.5 mpg) at 65-70 mph. My last truck, a 2003 F150 with a 6 cylinder only got 16 mpg at best.

Baby steps - 1998 Ford F-150

The 150 step is a great looking truck! 2 years and 30k miles later I have no problems to report. As a loyal Ford convert, in the next week Im going to upgrade to a 250 ext cab...A little more room, power and utility. An added bonus is the money for fuel is going to New Texas (formerly Iraq) and not OPEC.

misbuilt truck, shipped back to factory - 2002 Ford F-150
By vince - July 7 - 7:00 amMy ford dealership rejected the truck from the factory. Misbuilt. Factory workers must have fallen asleep on the job the day my truck was made. A running board was missing, sunroof was misaligned, not to mention a couple other cockeyed trim pieces. Dealer said problem with the sunroof was the roof not the mechanism. The roof wasnt square! So the truck is being returned to the factory in Kansas City. Give the factory workers some coffee!

Reliability - 1998 Ford F-150
By K. Medlin - July 7 - 2:00 am119000 miles with no problems except for alternator replaced at 60,000. Goodyear AT tires were original equipment. I got 64K on first set of tires and still riding on 2nd set.
