Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Great truck! - 1997 Ford F-150
By cfr7009 - September 5 - 10:00 amI leased this pickup in 1999 when it was 2 years old with 22000 miles. One week after I brought it home it started to run poorly, spew fumes and smoke, after 3 visits to the dealer (each time telling me that it was the O2 sensor) they finally changed the ECU. It immediately started running perfectly and I have had no trouble since. Ther is little to no maintenance required. Just change the oil and put in gas. I liked it so much that I bought it outright at the end of the lease. I plan on keeping it until one of us kicks the bucket. Chances are I will go first!

Dependable and reliable - 1995 Ford F-150
By WoodMoose - September 3 - 2:00 amI bought this truck as a program vehicle when it was three months old. It has been real dependable with minor, regular maintenance requirements. The engine is still like new and I regularly get 17+ mpg on the interstate.

Harley Truck Experience - 2002 Ford F-150
By patshark - September 3 - 2:00 amNo mechanical or other warranty needs at all. Excellent quality. Superb performance. Exhaust is a little too loud. Hauls heavy trailers with ease, runs smooth as glass.

2002 F150 SUPERCREW XLT (FREE) - 2002 Ford F-150
By Robert Beach - September 3 - 2:00 amUnlike most folks, Mine was FREE. I won it at a company drawing. They paid everything, even my taxes. All i had to bring was ins. Now I already had a 97 GMC and a 99 F150 EXTRACAB, So i sold the lemon ie."GMC" and kept the two F150s. And I love the Supercrew it handles better than my ext cab. rides better. and gets the same mileage as my 6 cyl gmc. And it is just "the best". IF YOU PURCHASE ONE YOU WILL LOVE IT.

Great Truck, but would tweek a few things. - 2015 Ford F-150
By John Trecker - September 1 - 8:02 amFirst off I have the 3.5 and while I never bought a truck to get good gas mileage, it is a good thing. I am not heavy footed at all, and only get 13-14 mpg around town and about 18 on hwy. Funny when I first got it I got about 22-23 on the why but after a few thousand miles that dropped, and the truck still only has 5k miles on it. With that said, very comfortable truck, and seems like much more room inside than in the Ram 1500. Not a big fan of the fan switch location as you have to reach around the shifter to get to it and it is a small switch at the bottom of the console, either a different location ( like the steering wheel) or a knob like climate control would have been nice. On the shifter, there is no off-set when dropping into D before going into manual gears. On a couple of occasions I have just dropped the truck into gear and slowly pulled out of the drive and onto a side street only to find when I step on it getting onto a busy road I am not in Drive but in a lower gear and hear the engine rev. Would like to see an offset to go lower than drive so one cannot do it accidentally. Like I said, the comments are very picky as the truck is very nice.

Id buy another one - 1992 Ford F-150
By therok6942 - August 31 - 2:00 amI bought my truck from my dad more than 2 years ago. The only things ive had to replace are normal wear and tear items such as brakes belts and tires and such. I consider this one of the safest vehicles ive ever driven because I can sit so high up and see over the other cars. I was in one wreck with a Saab(his fault) and I can say that i came out on top.
