Good Truck - 1995 Ford F-150
By Beardg1 - October 25 - 2:00 amThis is my second Ford truck. The first a Ranger with over 250,000 miles.The F- 150 in the 5.0 version its more of a lite duty truck. It will tow pretty well,but can be a tad under powered. I would have opted for the 5.8 vs. the 5.0 if I had it to do again.A very comfortable truck,lots of room,excellent heat and a/c,FAST power windors and good brakes. Steering is a bit on the touchy side on the hiway.Repairs have been few and relatively inexpensive,with nothing of any real consequence in the last 30K(my ownership period)I like the truck and in 8-10 years when Im thru with this one Ill be looking for a "new" 2004. Hard to go wrong with a Ford Truck.

Overpriced - 2016 Ford F-150
By JPW - October 23 - 3:52 pmMPG overstated, by quite a bit. This truck will never reach over 14 MPG. Ever. Door seals falling out before the first oil change. Carpet in the cab pulling up for no reason. Transmission unresponsive, any acceleration requires a downshift. Maybe 2 downshifts. Incredibly under powered. Auto-kill very dangerous at intersections, unresponsive or delayed. This truck is not only poorly engineered and built, but dangerous. The sync "tech" is 5-10 years behind. It does not even have simple navigation. Its as if the "tech" was an afterthought. Generally clumsy and awkward to drive. Almost impossible to park in an urban setting. Wholly impractical. It doesnt seem like Ford invested a lot in the engineering of this truck. Cost driven up to unreasonable amounts due to American unions. A $20K truck, sold for over $50K. I would suggest a Ram truck instead.

Great Ford Truck - 1990 Ford F-150

It has a lot of towing capabilities, it is 2 wheel drive but it is still pretty good offroad, it has an extreme amount of torque and pretty high horsepower too, it has the 5.0 (302) and it will keep up with Hemi dodges and most other trucks too. The truck has a smooth ride, especially for the huge suspension that it has. It is also built like a tank. This truck is good in almost every aspect.

By brickman - October 19 - 2:00 amI have had my truck for 2 years now, & am still very pleased with it.I use it to pull trailers weighing from 1500- 8000lbs. The 4.6 with a 5-speed isnt the most powerful engine on the block, but it does okay, even when the truck is grossly overloaded. This truck is the best truck ever in the mud, with 32" mud tires it is almost unstoppable.

By discodave34448 - October 18 - 2:00 amBoguth it with 25000 miles put 75 on it in about 3.5 years. Just had to put a new alternator on it. Other than that only brakes and general maintenance. Very very well built truck, still drives unbelievably tight.
