Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

#3 F150 - 2000 Ford F-150
By david_us2 - November 6 - 2:00 amThis is my 3rd F150. Had an 84 (still running somewhere out there) a 95 and this one. Almost switched to a GM after the 95 but gave Ford another chance. Glad I did. Solid, strong and dependable. Little stuff like rust on the running boards (factory installed) and a minor air leake that comes and goes on a windy day. Aside form that, I tow a boat all summer long, live on a steep gravel hill, take it everywhere and anywhere. Still looks, rides and runs great. (Lariat 4x4 w Triton V8)

NEW WHEELS - 2004 Ford F-150
By Turbo Diesel - October 31 - 10:00 amTHIS REALLY IS THE ONLY TRUCK THAT EARNED THE TITLE F-150, AND I HAVE PUT SOME EXRTA FEATURES THAT I WILL MENTION. BUT FIRST, THE TRUCK HAULS LIKE NO OTHER. CHEVY, DODGE, AND TOYOTA DONT MATCH THE TRITON V8 THIS PUPPY HAS. WHILE ITS NOT A F-150 LIGHTNING, IT ACCELERATES VERY WELL.

By Sean - October 27 - 7:30 pmIve bought several new vehicles over the years. This truck is by far the best vehicle ever. I and my family love it. Its so comfortable to ride in that my wife falls asleep every time we go somewhere. We love our F150 SuperCab.

My first (and last) Ford - 2001 Ford F-150
By mgrnpd - October 27 - 2:00 amWe bought this mainly as a family vacation vehicle. Plenty of back seat room for the kids, plenty of luggage room in the bed (with a cap), and can still tow the boat. The problem is it stranded us for a couple days on our first long vacation (Ford was no help at all) and broke down right before leaving on another long vacation. Now several unidentafiable rattles have begun. Id like to get rid of it for a more reliable vehicle, but the incentives on the new ones have really killed the resale value of mine. I thought I was buying one of the most reliable trucks to keep for a long time and now Im looking for a way out.

1 month review - 2005 Ford F-150
By mharrye - October 26 - 5:23 amAlthough I average 1,500 miles per month, I have put 4,000 miles on this one in the first month because it is fun to drive. Quiet interior and excellent handling have been pleasant surprises - I have never before driven trucks that came close. My other vehicle is a BMW 3 Series so my fun to drive comparison is not against something shabby. The only real reason I now find for using the Bimmer is fuel economy. Sure the F-150 cannot compare with the BMW on acceleration, but I cant say the truck is a real dog, something I had expected from reading reviews. Instead my problem is trying to keep it reined in. High speeds come quickly and unexpectedly due to the quiet and the ride.
