Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

After 5 years - 1998 Ford F-150
By carlwm - November 15 - 2:00 amThe only proble ever experienced was a minor adjustment in transmission shifting that was under warranty. Extremely solid, reliable, safe, vehicle. Drives even better when loaded. V6 has plenty of pep and torque. Unless towing a LARGE trailer, V6 is all that is needed. People who buy V8 waste money.

Converted Chevy Man - 2003 Ford F-150
By davidroy - November 14 - 2:00 amI traded a 2000 C1500 Silverado in to try my first Ford pickup. For the few weeks Ive had it, I love it. Although the horsepower is much less than my Chevy (231 vs. 270), it still drives great. The interior look and feel are better than the Chevy, and the ride/transmission is much smoother too. Well see if I end up a true convert. My Dad retired from General Motors so I could have bought any GMC at a discount. Thought I would try the Ford.

Leather Heaven - 2002 Ford F-150
By macaholic - November 13 - 2:00 amFor an exclusive ride in one of the most common pickups, this is it. The leather interior smells, feels, looks great. wouldnt trade it for a different model. My only suggestion would be to up the performance level of the 5.4L to play with the HDs and SVTs.

Great Vehicle - 2003 Ford F-150
By spencerallen - November 13 - 2:00 amI needed something that had enough room to haul a family as well as haul other miscellanous junk we as homeowners seem to collect over the course of a year. The Ford F-150 Supercrew 2wd was exactly the vehicle I was looking for. I opted for the 5.4L V8 engine instead of the 4.6L. The 5.4L just gives the vehicle that added push. If you are going to get the F-150 go for the gold and get the bigger V8.

By john damphier sr - November 8 - 12:22 amthis truck is fords f150 11 generation, full box frame huge hd shocks mounted on outside the springs, 5.4 3 valve engine 300 hrs power , [not 281 like the 03 365 pounds of tourq] i had an 07 lincoln mark lt but still own my old ford, they drove the same, the chevy 5.3 has smoother power and better milage,i have an 2011 with 145,655 miles i bought new, i keep the fprd because the undercarage is the same as the 2017, and my truck dose not have 1 SPOT OF RUST, I SPRAY EVERYTING UNDERNEITH AND ENGINE ALL HINGIS WITH REMINGTON GUN OIL , NOT A SINGLE RUST SPOT ON FRONT AXLES -REAR END- SPRINGS, GAS STRAPS, TRANNY COVER -OIL PAN, DOOR HANDLES ,THE ENGINE IS SHOWROOM, and the for has the best half ton breaks. I drove a 2017 f 250 4x4 all aluminum that truck was all over the road, to high way too light, the wind blows all over the place, ford will be sorry, [but Im picky] all the half tons lookgreat, dodge ram-chevy-gmc-ford-Nissan -Toyota, the consumer has great choices, I dont like v-6 turbo gas motor,

Love My F150 - 2000 Ford F-150
By TazMan - November 7 - 2:00 amI got the F150 4X4 with the Off Road package and the 5.4L V-8. It runs great. I have towed a bunch of furniture when I was moving and it did not even phase the motor or the transmission. I have even gotten over 57000 miles on the original tires. It did not even slow me down when I have gone off-roading as well. A great truck.
