Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

2004 F-150 SuperCrew - 2004 Ford F-150
By Charlie B. - February 12 - 6:20 amThe 2004 F-150 SuperCrew holds the road well, offers a solid ride and comfortable room for five. Still,it leaves room for improvement. One bugaboo is the A/C; you have to hit a smallish button every time you start the vehicle to engage the A/C. The Continental tires that came standard are cheapish, and would be much better with Goodyears or Goodrich truck tires.

Great Truck! - 2003 Ford F-150
By Runnoft - February 12 - 2:00 amHave had my second F-150 for a year now and cant say anything bad about it. Pulls 6,000 lb boat with ease, handles the snow like its dry asphalt, and looks great while doing it. Recently challenged the safety claims and must say that the poor bumper review does not apply. I ended up sideswiping a small coupe that was in my blind spot at about 30 mph. Took out the whole side of the car (about $3,000 worth) and the damage to the truck....none. I ended up hitting the side of the car with my front bumber and the only damage was a streak of blue paint, which buffed out in 2 min. UNBELIEVABLE!I love this truck!

Nice Truck, but needs improvements - 2001 Ford F-150
By DataDude - February 10 - 2:00 amOver all, it has been a dependable vehicle that lives up to the Ford name and image. The interior is super comfortable for the driver and all passengers, front and back. The four doors is a nice advantage over king cabs and standard pickups. The four doors are easier to load passengers then the king cab, and you have storage from the eliments for packages in the back seat, that are not left outside the cab to be stolen or rained on.

best truck out there. - 2003 Ford F-150
By chack - February 10 - 2:00 amI coould not ask for much more out of a truck. It is a blast to drive. Quiet and smooth. The only thing I would improve on is the gas mileage, at 1.70 a gallon it is punching through the wallet quick. Great truck

By jconwater - February 8 - 2:00 amOverall good vehicle. Have problems when it is cold. Power windows, emergency brake, and blinkers do not work when temperture is below freezing.

Supercrews the best - 2002 Ford F-150
By pops - February 8 - 2:00 amSupercrews are very nice. On the down-side, if you want to haul big things (like a few 2x4 or 4x8 sheet of anything) the bed is too short. Another downside -most of the Supercrews have the center console- pretty dumb, given that it takes away the ability to seat 6. The 4-door Japanese trucks feel small and ride like wagons. (And Im not talkin about station wagons) The Dodge has a great engine, but the finishing details lack. The same comments for the Chevrolet, but no great engine. For creature comforts, -Lariat. The big V-8 is a must. If you want gas- milage, may I suggest a Honda Insight? The Supercrew is hard to beat in any category.

Good Old Boy with 178,000 miles! - 1994 Ford F-150
By ronco - February 7 - 2:00 amBought this vehicle from a dealer that marked it "salvage only" on the bill of sale. Clutch was rough but overall this was a runner. I put a new clutch in it a few months after purchase (easy job!), rebuilt the brakes, and added new tires. This old 5 liter V8 runs great, uses a little oil but leaks considerably from front and rear mains. If it didnt run so darned good Id have it rebuilt. Never see a used lower mileage 5 liter for sale.

I Love It - 2003 Ford F-150
By jrob - February 5 - 10:00 amI really love this truck . I traded in my 98 dodge with a 318 V8..This 5.4 liter has so much more power and the transmission is smooth as silk when changing..The Dodge always seemed to be in a strain, especially going up and down hills. And the transmission was jerkey.. The cabin is solid and rides good for a 4x4. Buy the cloth seats. the leather ones are like rocks.
