Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

LUV my Ford But!!! - 1999 Ford F-150
By CJ Ford - May 11 - 2:00 amThis is my favorite ford of the 5 I have owned, all 150 and 250 4x4s. However this is the most expensive truck I have owned. I have replaced the auto tranny, head gaskets, instrument cluster, both power door lock units and after several attemps to correct the left rear wheel locking up when applying a cold brake, i just gave up. It will turn heads and is a pleasure to drive when not driving the the local dealer service department! Oh, the top of the engine makes too much noise on a cold start.

Pretty fair truck - 1999 Ford F-150
By JasonCOP - May 11 - 2:00 amI love the looks I get in this truck. I only wish the performance was as awesome. Its not bad, but not as good as I thought it would be knowing Fords record for performance.

Dont Buy a Ford - 1997 Ford F-150
By shags - May 10 - 2:00 amShortly aftr purchasing this vehicle (it was used) I discovered it had a problem with maintaining adequate oil pressure. The truck had only 39000 miles on the clock! A local Ford dealer as well as an independant mechanic told me the engine was shot and they would gladly replace it for 3500 - 3800 dollars. Ford Motor Co. refused to make a good faith adjustment for a problem that was clearly a defect. This will definately be the last Ford product Ill ever own. It will be my lifes mission to discourage anyone else I know from ever buying their junk!!!

Great truck!!! - 2000 Ford F-150
By Wigginscpa - May 10 - 2:00 amBest truck I have ever owned. Truck has V-6, which is very strong for a V- 6 not great on gas, but fun to drive. My daughter (4 years old)prefers riding in "her" truck rather than mommys van. Will probably trade soon, to get a crew cab (most likely F-150).

Happy so far! - 2002 Ford F-150
By jjkmlk - May 3 - 2:00 amQuiet, reliable, solid performer. Best mileage I can achieve with the 5.4L is about 16 mpg. I tow a 4000# boat with no problem (12 mpg). 19,600 to date and no problems - "knock on wood."

And I thought my Tundra was good........ - 2005 Ford F-150
By TJ Vollman - May 2 - 2:10 amI bought my "baby" after having a terrible accident with my Tundra (it was totaled). I swore I would never buy anything but a Tundra (it saved my life) but then I saw the new F150 and it was LOVE at first site. WHAT A MACHINE ! Towing my 24 foot SeaRay became a walk in the park. Built like a tank....rides like a Benz....Im a Ford Man now and Im never looking back.
