Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Ever since we have gotten the truck we have brought it in for 2 diferent services. Oil change and tire rotaion. We have had 0 problems with this truck. we got it almost brand new and still runs like it did when we first got it. Only thing i have against it right now is the power streering squeaks whenever i turn but it will be fixed. Thats my only problem after 7 years of ownership.

  • Not bad for a 25 year old design - 1996 Ford F-150

Have mine since new,-8 years. Fair gas milage with 300 and 5 speed at around 15 MPG. I hear a 351 V8 gets that. Still rides very smooth but handles sloppy, but then its design dates back to 1967. Front end alignment aside, very few problems and it never left me sit. Entire truck holding up well in spite of my abuse-I actually use the thing like a pickup truck! Wont buy a new F150 because high bidy sides and non- removeable gate, Guess ill but a F250!

  • Buy One Of These...NOW!! - 1994 Ford F-150

Ive had this 10 year old truck for 2.5 years, and I absolutely love it!! If it got better gas mileage, itd be the greatest vehicle ever. Ive hauled 2.5 yards of mulch in it, towed trailers, and the previous owner towed his boat to the beach regularly and the truck still runs perfectly. He and I have replaced very few items on it, and it still runs like new. Its extremely comfortable and reliable. I plan to keep it another 10 or 15 years. And since its such a popular vehicle, tires and many other accessories are fairly inexpensive. Also, it has a good safety rating. No body makes trucks better than Ford.

  • Great Truck - 1997 Ford F-150

144000+ miles with no problems except minor shift problem between 2nd and 3rd that showed up at around 100000 miles. So insignificant that I had not had it repaired when I got another Ford truck. No other repairs or problems except normal tires and brakes replacements.

  • Fun for $2.50 a gallon - 2003 Ford F-150

This truck is by far the fun pedal of the new car market. After the new wears off, smoking burnout for the youngsters, (Im 54)its still a lot of grins, if you want for an everday driver FORGET it. Its like having a Street Rod without the work.

Great vehicle. If youre shopping for a truck you should drive one before you buy another brand. I dont think you will be disappointed. Very quite, solid ride. Interior is leather, console is a perfect fit.

  • Working truck - 2010 Ford F-150

I seem to be one of the few that buys a truck to use as a truck. I am more interested in the motor, frame, tranny, rearend than if it has heated seats or I can plug my IPOD in or heated seats.I haul with this truck an drive it into fields. down graval roads an in the snow. The truck does very well doing all these things. An I feel its the best bang for the money. The frame is very stiff no flex an the truck likes to work. If you are looking for a truck that you are going to use as a truck this truck will serve you well. I am getting around 18mpg an that ok with me its a truck not a little car. I have 3.73 rear gears in this truck for towing an hauling.

  • Great truck, 100% satisfied with purchas - 2000 Ford F-150
    By -

This truck has been great to me. Zero problems mechanically, Ive taken care of it myself and so far so good. I drive it 20 miles round trip to work every day, plus one or two 150 mile round trips between San Antonio and Austin per week. I also did a 3000 mile road trip with zero incidents. Its bad on fuel economy (I have the 5.4l engine, expect no better than 14 mpg) but the truck has given me no problems. Dont expect neck snapping acceleration with the 5.4l, but it does what its supposed to. 4x4 works fine, drove in Minnesota snow and had no problems.

  • Dont buy a Ford F-150 - 2002 Ford F-150

Dont buy this vehicle, because (2) Ford Dealerships and the manufacturer will not take responsibility for a product that I spent $31,000 on.
