Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

The Truck with Attitude - 2002 Ford F-150
By KA - July 12 - 10:00 amA grin everytime you drive it! If you get this truck, spend the extra $600 on a chip and filter. If you decide on a blower pulley (~$200), youll need a pair of traction bars. ;) For the extra $1,500 (including the traction bars), its not all that much $, considering youll smoke a Vette, and have $15k left in your pocket!

I love my truck! - 2002 Ford F-150
By Morgan-Atlanta - July 10 - 2:00 amI spend a lot of time in my truck using it in my two businesses. It has to be comfortable, tough and still look good to make a good impression on my customers. My F150 does all that. the only thing i think could be better is the mileage. I get 15 to 17 mpg high way with a load and pulling a trailer, but in the beginning, I was getting 18 and 19 mpg. My truck is two years old, has over 70,000 miles on it and workw with me every day, but it still looks and handles great. I just drove it in Atlantas 4th of July parade pulling a float and it was the best looking truck there!

Great Truck if it doesnt vibrate - 2006 Ford F-150
By Rob - July 9 - 9:40 amI have had a vibration that seven trips to two different dealers cant fix that is coming from the rear end. None of the common F150 vibration problems are evident according to the dealers. One service manager acknowledged that a truck that vibrates when it performs its intended function is indeed fundamentally flawed. It gets worse with my boat on the back. Beware of this vehicle if you are evenly remotely mechanically inclined as the bouncing exhaust, violently shaking bed, rattles, and random vibrations of many sorts will drive you insane. I intend to drop mine off at the dealer and refuse to pick it up and take the credit hit from Ford instead of dragging things out in court.

Impressed so far. - 2004 Ford F-150
By AirForce1 - July 8 - 2:00 amHave only had the 5.4 liter truck three weeks now. Impressed with overall truck, both quality and ride. Its BIG! Would recommend, however, the 3.73 rear gear ratio (I have 3.55) as you are trying to accelerate over 5,000 lbs. Lots of room inside. Overhead rail storage is cool.

Love it! - 2006 Ford F-150
By TN - July 7 - 12:23 amThe styling is excellent and the interior is very luxurious. It is very roomy and comfortable. The Lariat comes equipped with every feature you need and has a large list of optional equipment you can add. I upgraded from a 97 2WD model and this one sits higher and feels much heavier. However, the ride and handling are superb. The mileage hurts with gas so expensive now, but it is right in line with any large truck. Thats why I cant rate it any lower than an 8 in mileage. I have only had the truck a short time so I cant vouch for reliability yet. However, I expect good things as it feels very well made and my 97 was a gem.

A - 2002 Ford F-150
By Insomniac101 - July 6 - 2:00 amNice overall vehicle fun to drive, looks good, decent power for 6-cylinder (mines a manual trans), and not bad fuel economy - very important today! Seats could be a little more comfortable, but other than that, a great truck. Dont know how it performs towing would probably have bought an 8-cylinder if I were using it in that capacity. Not much room in the cab for passengers, especially with a stick, but I drive alone 99% of the time, so not really an issue. Definately not a family-vehicle, but perfect for my use.
