Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

  • So Far So Good - 2004 Ford F-150

I bought this truck overstock in January. Needed Yellow for my business. This is a loaded 4X4 in shocking yellow and I think its great. Bug shield and step bars really set it off. Engine could be stronger but the weight due to extra size makes it worth it. I do feel and hear a not so subtle drive line rumble at about 62 mph. Other than this it is a very smooth and comfortable truck with a capital T.

  • Great truck for the money! - 2002 Ford F-150

3 years and 60K miles with no mechanical problems and a great ride has made me a fan of the F-150. High comfort design on interior and smooth styling on the exterior. I always get good comments on the truck expecially when they find out it is a 99 model year.

As my first pickup truck this one is great fun on and off road. It carries and tows anything I own. The interior is great. The exterior looks great. It even fits into my garage. The fuel economy is not good averaging 11.5mpg around town and about 15 mpg on the highway towing my boat. Overall I am pleased with my purchase.

  • Ford makes a great, durable truck - 2006 Ford F-150

When I first went to the dealership, I was originally looking for a small car for my grandmother. I had gotten my license about a week earlier and had already put a down payment on a BMW, but when I saw the truck over on the other side of the lot I was thinking,” I bet I can drive one of those!" So we took it for a test drive and I was hooked ... the interior was beautifully designed, and it handled very well, I honestly was impressed, because I always thought of trucks as big, clunky hunks of work-type vehicles, but now I know otherwise.

This F-150 has performed well. Engine performance is crisp, the ride is nimble, and the driveability of the truck is impressive. The leather front seats are comfortable, and the interior lay out is convenient for drinks, cell phones, storage areas, etc.

  • Get One! - 2004 Ford F-150

I looked at several trucks before purchasing my first F-150 to include the highly regarded Nissan Titan. I didnt like the Titan. It looked cheap on the inside and didnt feel like it had the room or the power that they said. The F-150 is awesome! It looks great both inside and out. I dont notice the lack of power than some have reported. I got over 7 K off the list and they threw in a bedliner to close the deal. Trucks are not what they used to be. Go and get an FX4 Super Crew. You will not be disappointed.

  • Chevy vs. Ford - 2004 Ford F-150

Truck is very nice. Needed to add a little more power (chip). I think the ride is very good, car like. Ford did a great job on the ergos. Everything is in the correct place. Im a chevy guy and after looking at everything out there in this class I had to buy the Ford. It was simply the best thruck in the class.

This is the first time I bought a Ford truck. Ive always bought Toyota trucks so I was pretty aprehensive about buying a Ford. The first minute I sat inside the truck I fell in love with it. It has a very nice/comfortable feel to it. If you didnt sit up so high, you would think you were driving a car. I have the 5.4 V8 and with that you have more than enough power. In addition, with the supercab, you will have more than enough space. The only complaint I have is the gas mileage, Im averaging 17 mpg which probably not too bad for a V8 but its still a little tough for me at the pump. In conclusion, I am very pleased.
