Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

By 351 Venom - August 26 - 2:00 amBought from orig. owner. Truck was babied. Took it to Ford dealer for oil change, and 3 mechanics begged me to sell it. Hope to convert it to older lightning truck later, but its still nice now. Unusual fact gold color, tan interior, mint condition. Ill have it a long time. Had rear differential bearings replaced due to roaring, otherwis no problems- 110,000 miles so go figure. Luv it. Eric

Too little power - 2000 Ford F-150
By GD - August 26 - 2:00 amThis truck was equipped with the 4.6 liter V-8. I tow a 22 foot boat which, with trailer, weighs about 4000 pounds. This truck tows poorly, with constant downshifts on the slightest grades. I was forced to sell the truck due to underpowering and a non-locking differential after it could not effectively pull the boat and trailer up boat ramps. It performed well when not towing.

no real complaints, great ride - 2000 Ford F-150
By Jeff Randall - August 25 - 2:00 ambought the work truck version with basically just a big black rubber mat under your feet, it doesnt stain, it is easy to clean and when the kids spill a coke, just wipe it up with a paper towel. I bought a v6 4.2L with 58k, I now have 73k after a year and not a single problem. Fuel mileage is not great but it IS in the same range as other trucks in its class, so no real complaint there, and the power of the 4.2L fine as long as you arent driving a big boat or trailer, or trying to accelerate onto the interstate like Tony Stewart outta the pits. My only complaint is cab storage space on the dash or the lower door molding area, just no place to put pe

Great Truck - 1997 Ford F-150
By NPLM - August 24 - 10:00 amMy F150 is a 97 Ext. cab SB Lariat (exactly like the one in the photo section of this site) with 76,000 miles. It is a great riding truck with plenty of power from the 5.4L V8. It is smooth as glass on the highway. Ive noticed that the ride actually improves when adding load or towing. Interior design is elegant as well as user friendly, and the build quality is top notch, with little wind noise or rattles. Has had no problems since new. My only complaint is the 5.4L engine is thirsty, getting an average of around 15-16 MPG,(city driving). I would recommend the 4.6L unless you really need the extra power. Overall great truck.

My New Ford Truck - 2005 Ford F-150
By Terry Vance - August 21 - 11:20 pmI have had no problems whatsoever with my new truck. I find it much more comfortable than my 2001 Silverado and I really like the new body style. The Super Crew works great for me.

A Great Truck - 2002 Ford F-150
By kruken - August 20 - 2:00 amIve had my F-150 for 4 months/5000 miles now. I used to drive a Dodge Ram with the 5.2L V8 and was a little leary about going to a V6, but needed better mileage. Im not disappointed. While it doesnt have the power of a V8, it is more than adequate. I love the exterior design and interior features. The ride and handling are fantastic for a truck.

Fordz Awesome - 1990 Ford F-150
By HurleyXP - August 19 - 2:00 amI bought my truck in sept of last year. I love this truck she had 120,000 miles on her when i bought her and ive put about 30,000 on her. She can climb mountains and she can offroad. I have had so much fun in her. She is also one of the most reliable trucks that I have ever owned. I have only had to replace the alternator in the time that I have had her. She starts every morning and takes me to work. I love my ford!!!
