Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Super ride! - 2002 Ford F-150
By Mr. Skywalker - September 18 - 2:00 amI have had numerous F-150s over the years, this one carries on the tradition of quality vehicles. The motor has plenty of pickup, nice bodystyle, easy to reach control panels. The only drawback so far has been erratic transmission shifting (has Ford ever made a decent transmission?).

best way to travel - 2005 Ford F-150
By linda criger - September 13 - 8:46 amWith over 40,000 miles in one year we have tested it. No problems. Mileage is good, power is good, ride is the best. Drives perfect. If you want the best truck on the market and American made too, this is what you want to buy. Has a top rated crash test to protect you and your family. We have been to the east coast and the west coast each two times and never an ache or pain from riding. Not bad for being seniors.

Reliable, quick, and looks good - 2003 Ford F-150
By Cbjulian - September 12 - 2:00 amBought a 2003 XL Sport with with all the options that come on an XL. The 5- spd mated to the 4.2 makes a good combo. The truck is surprisingly quick and handles well for a pickup. The ride leaves somthing to be desired but isnt bad on the highway. The truck has been very reliable with no problems. Ford has stuck by their warranty and my dealership was great.

Just a good ol truck - 1990 Ford F-150
By txtruck - September 6 - 2:00 amGreat truck. If it layed down today it would not owe me a dime. I have owned it for 11 years. It had 16k miles when I bought it, now has 117k, only paid $12.5k loaded out. Best vehicle purchase I ever made. Wow, can it pull a boat. Used to pull my 3500 lb ski boat through the Ozarks and pass cars going uphill with the a/c blasting-temp gauge stayed perfect. No rust problems- spent most of its life up north. When this one gives up I would like to buy another just like it-only a different color-after 11 years I am really tired of the 2 tone brown. I call it the milky way on wheels.

fun truck - 2001 Ford F-150
By dougmrusty - September 2 - 2:00 amLove this truck. Been my favorite vehicle to own. Great for light duty activities such as hunting, towing boat/trailer, hauling rock/refuse/bark/dirt. Great road trip vehicle w/ 4 door super crew cab and bed extender. Can pack average size family, gear and dog with no problem. Handles great off road and build quality has been very good.

operational functioning of 2004 F-150 - 2005 Ford F-150
By twohollands - August 28 - 4:00 amI think the fit and finish is much better than my Chevy. The only quality issue was a defective leather seat bottom, which the dealer replaced somewhat reluctantly (cost to them).
