Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

02 F150 Lariat FX4 - 2002 Ford F-150
By lgwilson - December 28 - 11:53 pmI love the truck. It is almost three years old now and Ive had zero problems with it so far. I love the 5.4 V8, but wish it got a little better fuel economy, especially on the highway. The interior is roomy, but doesnt grab you when you look at it. The truck rides well around town, yet still is very competent off road as well. This truck is a perfect example of why Ford has had the best selling trucks since the 70s.

Happy to own (sort of) - 2001 Ford F-150
By Truckster - December 28 - 3:47 amFor the most part Ive been happy with the truck. Bought new from dealership. Gas mileage poor in town but on the road I usually get around 16 mpg. 4WD probably has a lot to do with the poor mileage in town? My biggest complaints are front tire wear and a rather noisy rattle in the front passenger door. Have had the door panel off twice to correct. Other than what Ford charges for service of the truck its been a great ride. I would buy a a new one if I had the bucks.

All good for 5 years - 2000 Ford F-150
By Stance - December 26 - 7:08 pmMy truck has 130,000 miles on it. Other than oil changes and one pair of brakes, its always good to go! It is a 5 speed, plain truck [rubber mats and an a/c], but for the buying price of $17,000, it has been a terrific truck. The same dealership still has the same truck [2004-2005 models] for that same price and I will be buying another soon. I think my son will get another 130,000 miles on my 2000 F150 before it is done!

Great F-150 - 1998 Ford F-150
By sean - December 21 - 10:59 pmI love my truck because of the utility reliability and the looks. I have spent $420 in repairs in 6.5 years and 142k of use. A truck gives me the independence I like. I can move things without having to get any help. I am a pretty big guy and like the space. My family of 5 can fit in for short trips.

F150 Supercrew - 2001 Ford F-150
By john coward - December 20 - 1:00 pmPretty much trouble free since new. Check engine light came on at about 10,000 miles and was repaired promptly. Needed front brakes at 25, 000 miles. Goodyear tires have poor wet traction.

Great Truck - 2004 Ford F-150
By JohnnyFordBoy - December 15 - 10:00 amI recently picked up my new F150. Its a superb truck that rides like my 2002 Explorer. Drive it nicely and you can get about the same gas mileage too. It packs a punch and the comfort of the interior is undeniably the best around. Seats are perfect and the the fit is perfect. Great truck..... The back end of the new F-150 is actually higher than a 2000 F-350 Dually 4x4.

By Ford - December 12 - 11:28 amI average 19 mpg with a 231 hp motor in a Supercrew truck. Other makes dont come close. It is very stylish and is extemely comfortable. Im able to use it to transport people or make a run to the dump. Still have a lot of tread after 50,000 miles. Great truck!
