Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Nice Overall Truck - 1997 Ford F-150
By matt howard - January 8 - 1:17 amI have had this truck for 6 months and it has been reliable. I love the way it looks inside and out. It is a great truck to have if you want to have fun and go offroad or just drive onroad. It has a comfortable ride and it is very comfortable also. This truck also looks real nice with big tires and a lift kit put on it. I will probably buy another Ford truck when I decide to buy another one. I would recommend this truck to anyone.

Its a work truck - 2010 Ford F-150
By Scott - January 7 - 11:30 pmIts a big work truck, keeping it under 2,000 rpm will greatly increase your gas mileage! Mine had 20 inch rims had to get 18s cuz the ride was too stiff but other than that great truck, I love the key pad entry , I just lock my keys in the truck

MY NEW TRUCK - 2004 Ford F-150
By DMoleski - January 6 - 2:00 amtHE TRUCJ IS VERY COMFORTABLE AND SPACE INSIDE BOTH FRONT AND REAR IS QUITE ADEQUATE. tHE RIDE IS VERY SMOOTH AND ENGINE POWER IS VERY SATISFACTORY FOR MY USE. tHE TRUCK BED HAS AMBLE ROOM AND THE STORAGE SPACE IS MORE THAN SUFFICENT. i PREVIOUSLY OWNED AND EXPLORER XLT 1995 AND THE F-150 ACTUALLY RIDES AND DRIVES BETTER THAN THE OLD EXPLORER.

Solid truck 99 XL - 1999 Ford F-150
By E.K. - January 5 - 10:48 pmI am happy with my truck purchase. I researched the small & full sized trucks and had to consider the F-150 since it is the most popular vehicle ever built. The XL is the low end model but the interior is still quite nice. I have had to replace to ABS sensor for the rear brakes for about $21. No other problems yet. Seems very well built. I like the new F-150 also and may trade up in a year or two.

Dont buy Ford - 2001 Ford F-150
By Ron King - January 2 - 7:32 pm15 visits to dealer for repair in 3 years. Transmission thud with 2-1 downshift, replaced rear end, still whines, bad seals and compressor in air conditioner, bad sparkplug coil, drivers seat problems. Worst vehicle I have ever owned. Traded for a Honda Pilot. Glad to be rid of it. Dont buy a Ford unless you want to get to know the service department personnel really well.

Couldnt Ask For Anything Else - 1997 Ford F-150
By Great Truck - December 31 - 6:17 pmBought it new. Original brakes lasted 80k and first set of tires lasted 90k. Unbelievable but true. One breakdown in 8 years (ignition interlock). Plan on keeping it for as long as possible.

Exceptionally High Number of Failures - 2000 Ford F-150
By Ryan - December 31 - 2:28 amIf I had not purchased the Ford version ESP Extended Service Protection to 75,000 miles, I would have paid over $8,000 in repairs. Failures within this mileage: air conditioning, steering pump, ALL tie rods (inner and outer), ABS antilock brake module, mass air sensor, both power door lock modules, ALL upper and lower ball joints, heavy RUST on both front doors inside at the bottom, RUSTED spark plugs and coil #6 at 74,000 miles when Ford says replacement at 100,000 miles.

American Made means something again... - 2004 Ford F-150
By ProjectMagnus - December 31 - 2:00 amIm less than 12 hours with my new Ford F150 Lariat SuperCab 5.4 Trinitron. Im very impressed. The ride is smooth and almost car-like. The interior design is simple, yet perfectly designed. This truck has almost too many features to mention. This is perhaps, the greatest vehicle Ive owned. Ford has really, truly outdone themselves. Lets hope I have the same great things to say after the odometer turns 100k.
