Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

THE BEST JUST GOT BETTER - 2004 Ford F-150
By WOODIE - July 22 - 10:00 amThe new 04 FX4 supercrew is a wonderful vehicle. It functions like a truck as well as a passenger vehicle. Space in the interior is surprising, as is the handling. The extra weight of the new body style is evident, even with the increased horsepower, though. Long-Lewis Ford in Muscle Shoals, Al. sold 90 F-150s in August, and I can see why. It is a hit for Ford Motor Company.

F-150 FX4 Reg. Cab 6.5 SB - 2004 Ford F-150
By Moses - July 20 - 4:40 pmThis truck is very reliable, and very powerful for its size. With the 5.4 Liter V8, towing and off-road capabilities are almost limitless. However, I have encountered shifting problems with the automatic transmission very early on. The interior isnt very comfortable for long trips. The interior build is questionable as well; lots of plastic parts that can break very easily. I am very hard on my vehicles, and change almost every 5 years, and this truck has held up better within the first year of ownership than any other Ford vehicle Ive driven. Overall, it is a reliable vehicle and very fun to drive.

Love my Ford Truck - 1999 Ford F-150
By Great Truck - July 16 - 4:05 amBought my truck from my father in law. His loss. It is a fantastic truck. No major problems. It is a four wheeling beast in the sand dunes. Never was a Ford fan before but my next truck will probably be a Ford again after my time spent with this one.

New F-150, problems already - 2003 Ford F-150
By MRG - July 13 - 2:00 amThe truck was great for the first 650 miles with no problems. I am not too happy about the body design and the fact that it is a Ford, since I have had problems with Fords in the past. At 720 miles the oil pressure switch broke and was replaced by the dealer at no charge.... hopefully this is the first and last thing to break for a while.

Love my F-150 - 2015 Ford F-150
By Mark F - July 8 - 12:20 amLook, I love the truck and Ford I hope you log in and look at these reviews so that through constructive criticism comes updates and improvements. I love everything about the truck except the new key design and it is awkward to say the least. While in your pocket it will set the panic alarm off very often. I mean you lean one way or the other or up against something and the alarm goes off. Also, you cannot throw the key under the mat of the car if you want to lock it in and use the key pad on the drivers door to renter, or at least I dont know how to do that. My 2013 was a breeze, car alarm never set off, lock the key inside the truck and come back and enter code and you were good to go, new one (2015) much harder and cumbersome. Ford, you did more right than wrong and I love the truck! Just look over the new non-key design and improve, its a bit awkward now.

Good truck - 2001 Ford F-150
By Pistol - July 6 - 4:09 pmI also own a Crown Victoria and my wife would rather ride in the truck. Only had two mechanical failures in 5 years, right brake caliper and A/C. Truck rides good on the road and style is very aerodynamic.

Great Truck, Tons of Room - 2003 Ford F-150
By Big Mech - July 5 - 11:49 pmAfter having a 1994 Ranger STX, Im hooked on having a pickup, but needed something I could fit the expanding family in. The Super Crew fit the bill perfectly. Im 66" and this a very comfortable for me. Its great for the snow here in New England, and is easy to drive considering how big it is. The 5.4L has more than enough power to get this truck around. We have had it for 2 years with no problems, and the gas mileage is better than expected, as its no worse than my Ranger which had the 4.0L V6
