Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

EXCELLENT TRUCK - 2005 Ford F-150
By GRADY - June 7 - 11:56 amDrives better than my wifes 2003 Expedition, better gas mileage than Expedition. Average about 15 mpg town and on the road. You can see the road real well in front of you. Have had no major problems, One minor problem with the trim (double back tape used did not stick in one area), well solid built truck. Ford is putting more quality control into their product.

Solid truck - 2004 Ford F-150
By carl - June 5 - 4:52 pmSolid truck, you feel how solid it is. Feels more like a 3/4 ton. Engine doesnt feel like 300 hp, but when towing it does demonstrate adequate torque at low rpms. Great for when towing our travel trailer.

Read before you buy - 2006 Ford F-150
By rodsF150 - June 4 - 2:06 pmThis is my second Ford F150. Its a great truck! Just make sure you are aware of the miles to gas ratio. It cost me between $57-$67 to fill up. I Would like to see a better design for the information buttons that display miles, trip, and temp on the dash. They hide behind the steering wheel cant I see them! The 5.5 foot bed is a bit of a disappointment. Ford needs to design an F150 four door truck with a 6 foot bed. Conclusion the rest of the truck is excellent!

Fantastic vehicle - 2001 Ford F-150
By fordtestdriver - June 3 - 11:47 pmI love my truck. The only thing that has gone wrong in 5 years is the antenna loosened after driving through the car wash. It was repaired under warranty. I purchased an aftermarket engine recalibration package and if I burn premium I get about 3 mpg better and a lot more power with the reprogrammed chip. I plan on keeping this truck for a long time.

best truck i ever had - 2004 Ford F-150
By csbarnes - June 2 - 2:00 ami like the truck and the only problem i ever had with it was the back doors, the molding between the front and back door on the back door was bent out by the front door. But besides that it has been a great truck and i love driving it everyday.

HUH - 2004 Ford F-150
By bailey1547 - June 2 - 2:00 amThat is usually the look on another drivers face when the Lightning goes by them and there is nothing they can do about it. Appropriately named, it does every thing that it looks like it will do. Too bad it was not around in the 60s.

No power accessories just a truck. - 2004 Ford F-150
By rfstormchasin - June 1 - 8:47 pmSome people have ordinary hobbies, well storm spotting is mine. When I went to find a truck I didnt want all the power accessories in it because I put enough in it myself, but I needed a V8, extended cab and the tow pkg and I got them. No "fanciness", its a truck. And my wife loves it, thats a big plus. I had a 1997 F150 and i loved it. At first I wasnt crazy about the new body style of the 04s but it grew on me. I wouldnt do without it now.

2001 Sport - 2001 Ford F-150
By Mike - May 28 - 7:54 pmBought brand new when I started college. Never had a problem with the truck, cant say the same about college. I still drive it everyday to and from work it still feels and has the reliability it did when it was brand new. Cant wait to pay off my student loans so I can buy a new one.
