Besides the introduction of the four-door SuperCrew, America's most popular truck receives only minor changes in 2001. Power adjustable accelerator and brake pedals are now standard on all F-150 Lariat models and optional on XL and XLT trucks. The Work Series model is no longer available, but there is a newly created Work Truck option group that deletes certain equipment from the XL model. Child safety-seat anchors and four-wheel ABS are now standard equipment on all trucks. XL and XLT trucks have upgraded standard-equipment radios.

  We loved our 1994 Supercab, but needed the room for our growing family. This is stylish, as well as comfortable. A great vehicle for a person who wants all that a truck can offer, but yet haul friends and family comfortably. This truck handles everything from towing a pontoon to a bobcat to having it loaded down with sod. Get the sprayed in bedliner. The only problem weve had was that the bed was not square on the frame. With this truck, I will never own a car for myself again.

  Our truck has been great to this point. Looks great, runs fine. Very comfortable to drive for me at 6 feet and for my wife at 5 feet because of the adj pedals.

  i am disappointed with the leather seat that are cracking and pealing..i feel if you just purchased a vehicle within the first year the dealer should repair a pealing leather driver seat..

  Great truck, very reliable, just change the oil and keep on going. Tows well, interior beautiful, hmmm...saddle leather. Roomy comfortable for 4 full- size adults.

  We bought this mainly as a family vacation vehicle. Plenty of back seat room for the kids, plenty of luggage room in the bed (with a cap), and can still tow the boat. The problem is it stranded us for a couple days on our first long vacation (Ford was no help at all) and broke down right before leaving on another long vacation. Now several unidentafiable rattles have begun. Id like to get rid of it for a more reliable vehicle, but the incentives on the new ones have really killed the resale value of mine. I thought I was buying one of the most reliable trucks to keep for a long time and now Im looking for a way out.
