Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

10K miles, only one gripe - 2005 Ford F-150
By frank - October 19 - 12:36 amIve had this Texas edition SuperCrew for just under a year and the ONLY complaint I have is with the gas mileage. The mileage is just fine on the highway (about 20 mpg as near as I can figure) but in-town I can just about see the needle falling when I sit in traffic or at red lights. And this is with the 4.6L v-8. Ive not found this engine to be underpowered at all even with a heavy load in the bed. The interior design is just about perfect, seating front and rear very comfortable with more than adequate leg room in the back. The 6 cd premium sound system ROCKS. Its a nice looking PU that delivers more than just looks.

F-150 Rocks - 2006 Ford F-150
By Tecato - October 18 - 8:03 pmI am completely pleased with my F-150 Lariat. The interior is pure luxury. The handling is great and the performance is really good. This truck is extremely fun to drive. When I drive this truck it is like I am driving a truck version of a Lincoln.

MY 2004 F-150 - 2004 Ford F-150
By ESTEPFLATTOP - October 14 - 2:00 amVERY COMFORTABLE INTERIOR. COMFORT HAS SURPASSED THE OLD TRUCKS IN THEIR DESIGN. MORE LEG ROOM, MORE HEAD ROOM YET EVERYTHING IS IN REACH OF THE DRIVER. PEOPLE ACTUALLY TURN THEIR HEADS WHEN THEY SEE MY TRUCK GOING DOWN THE ROAD OR SETTING IN A PARKING LOT. THIS IS THE THIRD NEW TRUCK I HAVE HAD IN THE LAST SIX YEARS BUT, BY FAR IT IS THE BEST.

Built Ford Tough - 2001 Ford F-150
By Big Harley - October 13 - 9:43 amGreat Power! Amazing Looks! and Reliability! I have had a great experience the 7 months I have owned this truck. The 20" stock rims are beautiful and the interior is simply amazing. The engine with 260HP and 350TORQUE is plenty power for everyday use. (The Exhaust note also sounds very pleasing)

interior fabric suck stains - 2005 Ford F-150
By T. R. - October 11 - 12:40 amDriving is very good control. The interior arm rest hits your knee. The interior material stains even with water on it. I have already covered the seats.

Stupid Fast - 2002 Ford F-150
By NFLEagles1 - October 7 - 10:00 amI have about 3000 miles on my new Lightning now. Before it, I owned a 2001 4X4 Extended cab. After test driving a used Lightning with no intention to buy, I had to have one. Sometimes Ill just test drive cars I hear about to see what I think. Unfortunately, I chose the wrong vehicle to just "test drive." Two weeks later I traded in the old 4X4 Extended cab for my Lighting. Performance is unbelievable. A truck should not be doing this. At night I drive around looking for a street race. By day I tow around my ATV. I gave up 4X4 (for snow) and Extended Cab space for this, and I dont regret my decision at all!

Good American Product - 1997 Ford F-150
By hydropump - October 6 - 9:00 pmGood experience, drives easily. Minor problems recently with "fault light" erratic turn on/off. No material structural problems. Normal tire wear. No alignment problems. This is my most recent Ford and much better service than 1988 and 1978 similar versions.

love my 98 F-150 - 1998 Ford F-150
By Bonnie - October 5 - 8:15 pmI purchased this truck in 2000, fell in love with it the first time I drove it. I still love my truck, wish this body style would come back. DO NOT like the 2004 and newer body style of the F-150/F-250. I still get compliments on my truck but I now have 94,324 miles on it. When I bought the truck it came with air bags over the rear tires which really helps when we RV tow, pick up gravel or other heavy loads. Its been a GREAT TRUCK! I still have it but am considering stepping up to a 3/4 ton. Sure wish FORD would bring back the 2000 body style. I added a magna flow exhaust on it (sounds great) My truck turns many a heads!

Nice Truck - 2006 Ford F-150
By Mike - October 5 - 4:06 pmF-150 Lariat 4x4 is tough offroad and smooth on the highway. 5.4L V8 engine is tops and interior styling is the best I have seen on any other truck hands down. Seating is very comfortable and ergonomic. Very quiet smooth ride with plenty of interior storage.
