Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Lincoln LS400 with a Bed and more room - 2004 Ford F-150
By Pro Pilot - December 8 - 10:00 amThe Lariat is more than a truck. With the new interior and comfortable size, it can double for your luxury car duties too. The engineering that went into making this truck responsive to drive is impressive. Who would have thought the words "road feel" and "truck" would be in the same sentance? The 2004 F150 is very quiet, comfortable and gets the same mileage as the outgoing model. The drive by wire may make the truck feel slightly sluggish since the power comes on so smooth, but you are always going faster than you think you are in this vehicle.

200,000 miles later, got rear-ended - 2000 Ford F-150
By Vic - December 7 - 9:21 amWow! What a great (but plain) truck. If you need a cheap ride and dont mind the rubber floors, no cruise, no automatic -then this is your truck. Mine has nearly 200,000 miles on it and still runs perfectly! The body, however, was damaged beyond repair in a wreck three days ago. If a teenager hadnt hit me, my truck would be on the road today. I would buy my truck back if possible. It is that good! I bought it new with 15 miles on it. I did the usual maintenance, oil change at 5000 miles and fluid checks / changes when needed.

Junk Truck - 2004 Ford F-150
By sst338 - December 5 - 6:27 pmI have 71,000 miles on my truck and it is falling apart. Have gone through 4 sets of tires. Have had to replace both front rotors and calipers, rear also (the right front exploded on me when I had to hit he brakes hard on the freeway) and Ford wouldnt not warranty them with 21,000 miles on the truck. The 4WD part is terrible off road, it might work in the city but stinks in the real world! Plus the motor wont pull anything, and the transmission has been slipping since 40,000 miles. The dealer says it normal and nothing is wrong.

Bumps & Rattles - 2006 Ford F-150
By Gary - December 5 - 8:39 amThe truck is enjoyable to drive, however every moderate bump in the road sends a chilling vibration through both inner doors and (yes) they do rattle loudly! I do have the towing pkg, but I feel the ride should be much softer, smoother, and quieter. The looks and style of the truck inside and out are great. Fuel economy is ok, however I cant help wondering what kind of a rattletrap this truck will be in 5 years. One final word, the first cold weather start (17 degrees) the 5.4 engine whistled loudly for several minutes before finally settling down.

Whoa what a truck! - 2006 Ford F-150
By What a truck! - December 4 - 12:06 amLeft the dealership and my wife said no way youre driving pal. So I sit in the darn passenger seat and she hits the gas and I thought I was going to get whiplash! The seats in the King sure make you feel like a King and it sits up high enough to make you feel safe. Everything is right at your finger tips and all the toys are awesome. All I can really say is "yee haw" we love our truck. Ford done good.

One tough well built luxury truck - 2006 Ford F-150
By Henry Noyes - December 3 - 3:32 pmThis truck out does any of the other trucks I have owned. The interior is beautiful and well appointed. It has a super quiet ride and does not rattle or squeak. With 66K miles on it the only thing it has needed is fixing the water leaking into the fog lights.

HIGH MARKS - 2004 Ford F-150
By DONALD JONES - December 2 - 2:00 amI HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A TOYOTA MAN WHO WAS LOOKING FOR A STRONG TRUCK. I DROVE THE NEW TUNDRA TO PULL A 5000 BOAT, I SAW THE ADD ON THE NEW F150 AND THOUGHT THE BODY DESIGN WAS BETTER LOOKING THAN THE TUNDRAS. SO I DECIDED TO GO DOWN TO THE LOCAL DEALER AND DRIVE ONE, IT MET MY EXPECTATIONS AND THEN SUM. IT IS THE NICEST DRIVING TRUCK THAT I HAVE EVER HAD. THE BOAT THAT I TOW DOESNT EVEN FEEL LIKE ITS THERE, I HAVE TO KEEP LOOKING IN MY MIRROR. KUDOS TO FORD, THEY DID SOMETHING RIGHT WITH THIS NEW F150. I ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO GO AND TEST DRIVE THIS WONDERFUL PIECE OF MACHINERY.

04 F150 is a WINNER - 2004 Ford F-150
By Bob Williams - December 2 - 2:00 amI keep my trucks for a long time. Once I drove the new Ford I had to hve one. The power is great, the styling captures alot of looks from drivers of all makes. If this F150 gives me the same service as my 93 model then Id have to say I got my monies worth. Theres no better looking truck on the road.

2005 F-150 FX4 - 2005 Ford F-150
By Andy Johansons - November 29 - 2:54 pmMy driving consists mostly of city driving. Even though this is a pick-up truck, I have found that I can use this vehicle for everyday, get around type of driving. There is enough room in the cab to take the kids to school, go shopping, or pack luggage for vacation. Plus, when I need to, I can load up the "bed" for anything else. It rides great, the seats are awesome, and the fit and finish are excellent. Maintenance has been minimal. Although I had to have the rotors turned to remove brake "shimmy". Outside of that, its been scheduled maintenance.
