Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

  • good truck - 2005 Ford F-150

Had problems with steering vibration right after I bought it. Turned out balancing the tires did the trick, though first time in all the vehicles Ive bought Ive had to have this done right out of the gate. Ride and handling are great, 5.4 is a little sluggish but acceptable. Love the interior and like the deep bed as it gives more inside space with a tonneau cover. Fuel mileage is ok, compares with the 1/2 ton Chevy I had. Love the looks of the truck, again great ride and handling.

  • One AWESOME Truck - 2016 Ford F-150

I traded in my 2013 F-150 xlt for a new 2016 model. Didnt really need a new ruck but they were having such a really good at our local dealer that I just couldnt resist the deal. Ive always been a V8 man myself but was told to test drive the new 2.7 Eco boost. I wouldnt believe it if I hadnt drove it. This truck will out run my old v8 5.0. Ive only put 200 miles on it so only time will if the engine is as good as the 5.0 in reliability. As for the looks of the truck, all my buddies cant believe how how plush it is. Everyone that rides in it cant believe how it rides and handles. The Chevy guys all say I wish my Chevy rode like this. So for anyone wondering about the 2.7 eco boost just go and test drive you will love it. Even tho the engine isnt broke in yet I have been getting 24 mpg going to work on the Wv mountain roads.

My truck is GREAT! I could not have bought a better pick up. It is my dream truck, since I was 16, and now I have one. Its amazing the looks you will get when you are driving a shiny, black Ford Lightning SVT, with chrome wheels, bed cover, cowl induction hood, Bassani exhaust, and an extra 30 horse power to the already 390 stock. WHEW, what a truck!

  • This Truck is a Hazard to life and limb - 1999 Ford F-150

The front left tire has fallen off three times due to ungreasable pressed in steering components. All Ford replacement parts and all of poor quality. One control arm didnt last a year. That was the time I had just finished driving to work at 65MPH and as I pulled in the hospital parking lot the wheel fell off, blocking the entrance. Real nice. Yesterday the brakes went out...period. The thing goes through coils at the rate of one or more a year. The hood latch broke. I had to take the spare tire out to replace the shocks - that stupid system was broke right from the factory. The 4wheel drive is broke, I dont know why yet. I suspect an engage motor. I could go on but no more letters to use!

  • Well rounded vehicle - 2000 Ford F-150

This is a truck with a luxury car ride. It is quiet, reliable and attractive. The engine, while not the most powerful, is quite powerful enough. I upgraded to a K&N air filter and the throttle response improved dramatically. I have changed the front brakes 4 times but that isnt too crazy. When the stock tires wore out I upgraded and the handling is incredible. The only problem I have is if the roads are icy it, like any pick up truck, has a tendency to slip and slide.

This is the nicest truck I have ever owned. The ride and handling is great. It rides smooth and quiet like a luxury car. Its also one of the best looking trucks on the road.

Ive been driving this truck for about a month. It has been used for about two years, but only has 9K miles on it. Its SWEET. I am absolutely in LOVE with this truck! I couldnt ask for anything more.

  • Need a better braking system... - 2001 Ford F-150

The extra weight of my 4x4 has put me in several situations where its poor braking system became apparent. Other than that a decent vehicle.
