Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

the best truck ive ever owned - 2006 Ford F-150
By ford truck man! - February 6 - 3:53 pmWhen they say "Built Ford Tough" theyre right 100%! I bought the truck new as a left over 2006 model, and so far, nothing has been a problem. I love this truck. It tops all of the other six trucks Ive ever owned. It has a rugged, tough truck look, and a car-like plushy interior. I went looking for a truck, expecting to find one that i liked, but when i drove the F-150 out on a test drive, i loved every inch of it!

Cost of Ownership - 2004 Ford F-150
By jk123 - February 5 - 6:29 pmBought my 2004 F-150 SuperCrew new. Had to make a decision between the Ford and the Nissan Titan, bad decision on my part as it turns out. Currently on my 5th set of tires at 61,000 miles, had to replace brake rotors during the first break job, the tranny slips and Ford has not been any help. The customer service rep from Ford Motor Co. tells me they have done all they can do. The cost of ownership and the time spent taking this truck back and forth to the dealer is ridiculous. Sorry Ford, I have given up on you guys. If the Japanese want to take over the US truck market you should at least make them work for it and not just give it to them!

By far, the BEST TRUCK I HAVE EVER OWNED - 2006 Ford F-150

Good looking poor quality - 2004 Ford F-150
By fbi08351 - February 2 - 1:49 pmI love the way the SuperCrew looks and drives, however the workmanship is below par. I have had to replace the front drivers seat twice before the warranty expired because it was falling about at the seams. The back seat had to be replaced because water was leaking around the cargo light on the top. I was told this was a common problem. The seats stain if any liquid is spilled on them including water. Also had to have tranny repair at 25,000 miles. I am a business man that only uses vehicle for light duty.

It aint bad but not fantastic - 2000 Ford F-150
By plaid_britches - January 31 - 12:16 amIt is extremely reliable and for the miles on it, it has only needed one tranny service and currently is misfiring on cylinder 7. But with the miles and how much I pulled a trailer with it, its a nice truck and it could sit a little higher, 17 inch wheels should be changed to another size maybe 18" because of the tire prices, 18s being cheaper, engine could use some more power, but overall it is a great truck.

Ford Trucks - 2003 Ford F-150
By Dale Leydig - January 28 - 2:44 pmThis is the 3rd Ford truck Ive owned and they all have been very reliable. My 2003 F-150 FX4 is the best one Ive owned. It has very good styling, runs great and is fun to drive. I havent had any problems at all (knock on wood). Ill definitely buy another Ford truck.

Should Not Have Broken - 1997 Ford F-150
By I got a Lemon - January 24 - 4:34 amPoor fuel economy. Transmission died at 77,000 miles. A/C was blowing a foul smell. Turns out to be a leaking heater core. Replaced that at 105,000. Both were expensive repairs and neither should have gone out that soon. To top it off, I replaced the battery and got two starts out of it. Not the vehicles fault, but leaves me wondering what is next. I dont trust my Ford to be there for me. Im looking at other manufacturers.
