Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Just like other reviews, GREAT! - 2003 Ford F-150
By mgradke - February 17 - 10:00 amTalk about Ford Tough Trucks, I was rear ended at approx. 20 miles per hour at impact. The trailer light reciever was bent back, and the very strong hitch reciever and rear bumber took the brunt of the inpact and the other vehicle was severely damaged. I was totally surprised and very happy that my truck took such an impact with so minor damage. My rear bumper is as straight as new. The luxury seats with headrest took very good care of me. The truck absorbed the shock, I hardly felt anything. The 5.4L engine really has the torgue and power. Passing cars on two way highways feels so reassuring and comfortable.

First new truck - 2007 Ford F-150
By FirstTruck - February 15 - 4:01 pmFirst new truck after driving only cars for 30 years. Truck sold itself after renting one from Hertz on a 1 week trip. Personally, I think its the best looking truck in the market. Rugged yet classy. Not in your face like Dodge. Not bland like GM. Not Japanese looking like Nissan or Toyota. After 30 years of cars, I was pleasantly surprised by ride quality, interior design, sound isolation. Great highway cruiser. 4x4 lets me go in deep snow even with regular tires.

06 F150 - 2006 Ford F-150
By 602pipewing - February 11 - 10:52 pmThe only thing that the truck needs is stronger rear suspension and a little more low end power. Easily fixed by airbag suspension and a few performance upgrades.

Good used truck buy for the money - 2000 Ford F-150
By Chris - February 11 - 9:08 amBought the truck used. Love it. I just replaced the engine at 67000 miles (spun 4 bearings). Risks of buying used with no history. Other then that, the truck has been great. Lots of towing power (5.4 engine). Good cruiser. Owned many brand of trucks in the past, this one is the best.

First F-150 - 2004 Ford F-150
By New Ford Man - February 8 - 10:00 amLove the sytling of this truck, gets lots of attention where ever it goes. Ride like a dream at highway speeds, but had a terrible vibration between 40 and 50 mph. Dealer says its the nature of the beast. Already had warranty repair with less than 700 miles on it...hope this is not going to be the case in the future. Paint is already flaking off the top of the cab and its only 3 weeks old. Dealer says they are not responisble for paint and that it is not covered under warranty. Im no idiot and know Im being lied to, so not very happy with the dealer service so far, hope it gets better. Overall the truck is very nice and I love the way it drives.
