Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

F150 problems - 2002 Ford F-150
By F150 Problems - April 9 - 3:47 pmThe first 3 years the truck was a good truck. I use the truck for camping and to go a short distance to work. For the past year I have been getting water in the cab on the drivers side. I have tried to find where it is coming in at with no success. This year the ABS has died (the orange idiot light is on and ABS doesnt function). Havent had time to investigate this yet to determine what the problem is. Three of the four doors are starting to bubble with rust at the base of the doors where the folds are at. The last issue is every so often the service engine soon light comes on. If it wasnt for these issues I would be really happy with the truck.

My Lariat F150 - 2005 Ford F-150
By MikeB7 - April 9 - 6:56 amCompletely satisfied! Spent many months researching and went with the F150 over the Titan with no regrets. The interior is pure luxury, the exterior has the best appearance. The Titan was tempting for awhile but I grew tired of that look and the Titan interior is no match. Ford quality is real.

Great USA Truck - 2005 Ford F-150
By tim bickford - April 7 - 10:31 amThis is one nice riding truck. Traded in Exploror. No comparison in the ride. It rides like a good quality car. It has a smart look, and the design of the engine makes for easy repair access. You are driving a truck with all the features of a truck but has a smooth ride, and very quiet. I cannot say more about this truck but one word. great. This USA auto maker is better than imports.

Gotta Love It - 2002 Ford F-150
By Draytondave - April 5 - 8:48 pmIt has plenty of power, but bad on gas. I get 11-1/2 mpg while towing a 24ft travel trailer. Would love to have a little more torque for towing at 100kph without dropping a gear. Very comfortable and spacious up front.

Best Vehicle Ever - 2005 Ford F-150
By dan - April 3 - 10:14 pmWow, Ford did it right with the new F-150. Im 50 years old. I have bought new Dodge, Chevy, Honda, and other Ford products and this 05 F-150 is the best ever. I have owned it almost two years and 30,000 miles and not one problem. Not even a small problem. The last new truck I bought was a 2000 Silverado and that was a nightmare from the time I took delivery until i traded it 36,000 miles later. The Ford is at the other end of the scale. It rides nice, is super quiet inside, and is pretty good on gas. Seats could be softer, and it could use more power. I got the 4.6 v8, should have got the 5.4. Other than that, the truck is flawless.

F-150 Lariat Crew Cab - 2004 Ford F-150
By CFIEd - April 3 - 2:00 amNot a bad vehicle, just a bit pricey. The ride is very smooth, which is expected for such a heavy truck. The interior is comfy, and back seats have lots of leg room. I seem to be able to fit in the available storage spaces everything that I was carrying in my previous vehicle, an Explorer SportTrac.
