Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

This is the one to beat! - 2004 Ford F-150
By Keenejim - September 11 - 10:00 amThe new f-150 Lariat is nice. After comparing the Supercab with the Supercrew- I went with the Supercab because it has the 6.5 Ft. bed. (the supercrew has only the 5.5 ft bed.) Opt for the front bench seats- that way you can seat 6. As long as you dont put the front seats all the way back, theres plenty of room in the back seat. Wonderful finish on the Lariat. Wish it had 5 speeds for gas milage on open road. Only 16 mpg. Needs shell or cover to assist mpg. Plenty of power. No other truck is in the same league as the Lariat F-150. The Japanese trucks feel cheap & plastic. Sorry Nissan-Not in same league with the F-150 Lariat. Tundra Ok. The Chevrolet is lumbering. No to Dodge

By Damon Rowe - September 7 - 2:00 amThis is a really fast beast. And it is fun to drive. I out run all kinds of stuff in this bad boy. Corvetts, camaros i even beat a mustang cobra. Buy this if you want 380 horses and 450 foot pounds of torque. Not to mentoin a 5.4 supercharged engine with a eaton blower and supercharger.

Wow! This is one nice truck! - 2007 Ford F-150
By Alan - September 5 - 12:23 amAfter much research, I finally bought my Lariet. Granted Ive only had it for two days, but Ive got to tell you it is an impressive truck. Ive read many reviews and some reviewers complain about a lack of power this certainly is not evident to me and Im used to a 2001 Mustang GT. Its power is consistant and smooth throughout the RPM range. Inside it is amazingly quiet the style and comfort of this truck is down right awesome! So far, I love it! If it holds up like my 1984 Bronco II did, itll prove to be one hell of a truck. Check back in 10 years for an update!

Solid Truck - 2007 Ford F-150
By Billy - September 4 - 9:14 amGood all around truck for regular folks. The small V8 is sluggish at first but will move down the road very well. Works fine for what most people do. Rides like a truck, not a car. I like that. Get the bigger motor for more serious work. I can get 21mpg highway if I drive reasonably <70. Pulls a small boat well and has plenty of room and comfort. Sides of the truck are high and makes getting stuff in and out a bit tougher than with previous models.

This Old Truck - 1995 Ford F-150
By CarbonFuel - August 31 - 4:55 pmI paid $4500 last winter. Ive only paid for oil changes. And I cleaned it in and out well because it smelled like a used car. Now its nice, clean, easy to drive. Id never buy a Ford car, but this old truck has been good and a good price. Its very under powered. I drive it easy and get 18 MPG with its 5L V8. Snow, sand, and mud are like driving on pavement when in 4X4.

Great Sport/Race Truck - 2001 Ford F-150
By LightningBoy - August 28 - 10:00 amI have no regrets buying my 2001 Ford Lightning. It has all the handling and performance one could ask for from a 35,000ish dollar vehicle. You also get the functionality of a shortbed truck that can haul a 16 ft. trailer or another vehicle. I also own a 2002 and its just as good! Thank you.
