Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

  • Ford on top - 2004 Ford F-150

While the F-150 does lack the side air bags, it is undeniably the safest large truck on the highway. It has crash severity sensors, available back up sensors, front & Rear Crumple zones, the strongest frame made, a hood that will not go through the windshield, and all speed traction control, the engine has more power than either GM or Dodge 300HP & 365lb torque at 1000 rpm, not 3000. For once Ford has taken the lead. Can you say 4 doors i every cab design? The ride is much more refined than competitors and takes this truck to the Rolls Royce of Trucks

  • Cant hardly complain - 2001 Ford F-150

This truck is great I have already put over 35000 miles on, and the truck still drives great, at 106k miles. I did replace some coils and an alternator, but for an 8 year old truck, that isnt too bad! The interior is super comfortable, spacious and road noise is very quiet. I have also pulled some heavy loads - I can say the power is still there. I pulled a loaded 7X12 Trailer, and the only reason I slowed down was to be safe going around corners. The truck is solid on the road, absolutely not squirrelly like other brands I have driven. I hauled grass with my brother in law who drives a Tundra. When we were done, he said hed never do that to his truck again. Not the case here!

Great, comfortable, stylish. Though it could use a little extra room in the back.

  • Best truck - 2004 Ford F-150

My truck handles beautifully. All silver and a nice sounding engine. I beat a DODGE HEMI with ease. This truck is amazing when it comes down to speed and power. Hopefully they come out with another in 05.

  • Very Satisfied - 2007 Ford F-150

I have owned Ford pickups for over 20 years trading about every 3 years. This is the best truck yet. Comfortable, quiet, excellent sounding radio. Tows 10,000 lb trailer great. Fuel economy could improve but only have 1000 miles on it and it is improving.

  • The Best Truck Yet - 2010 Ford F-150
    By -

The 2010 Harley truck is my fifth Ford truck and my third Harley edition. I bought the 01 and 07, as well. This truck is a real joy to drive. Ford obviously made a heavy investment in the interior of this vehicle without overlooking any details. From the audio system to the seats to the spaciousness to the ambient lighting and the badging, this truck was built for luxury. While not as loud as the 07, the 2010 model is more responsive. It has a very smooth acceleration. The truck handles well and belies its impressive height. The increased wheelbase is a welcomed change. The braking system does not jerk as is the case with many new cars and trucks. Ford has a masterpiece here.

  • Unload both barrels - 2006 Ford F-150

The steering is too light. The rack/pinion-power assisted steering is way overboard. Its almost unsafe to a point where I only drive this truck on out of town trips when I have to go. I drive class 8 trucks about 6000 miles a week, with my wife. Neither her or I choose to drive the Ford to work. It just sits in the garage waiting to be sold when it gets about 2 yrs old, so as we wont loose money on todays market. Our main means of transportation is still my old 2000 model Sonoma 4x4 with 74000 miles on it. Our next pick-up will be another Chevy or GMC.

  • Gotta Get One - 2005 Ford F-150

  • Never buy Ford again! - 2004 Ford F-150

  • Medium Wedgewood Blue Lariat Supercrew - 2004 Ford F-150
    By -

Ive had my 04 Screw Lariat 4x4 since September and love it. The truck looks great in the Medium Wedgewood Blue/Arizona Beige two-tone. When I first bought the truck I had the only one in my area (SE Oklahoma) for a couple months and it was like being a celebrity. People stared, wanted to set in/look at my truck and I had very favorable responses. The ride is great, the truck is very quiet and it seems like a Lincoln. The only downside is fuel mileage. I started out getting about 13 mpg (city/hwy) but at 9,800 miles its up to 16 mpg. Basically, its a great truck!
