Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

The truck with the stuff - 2004 Ford F-150
By Frank - October 25 - 10:09 pmMy truck had 165000 miles on it when I bought it. I have had it for a week and love it! It was very well taken care of, and nobody can believe the miles. It looks like a brand new truck with no miles on it, and drives even better! The best truck for the money- take care of it and itll run and look like new for years to come.

F150 4-Dr SuperCrew Lariat - 2004 Ford F-150
By 4-Dr SuperCrew Laria - October 24 - 6:16 pmWhilst the F150 looks great, the vehicle has experienced problems with the steering wheel "shimmy" at 65- 70mph. Also the electrical componemnt that controls the a/c, heated seats have failed?

Ford. Builds driving smiles. - 2007 Ford F-150
By Mike - October 24 - 3:09 pmThis is my 8th new Ford P/U in 11 years. From F-150s to F-350s. The last problem I had was with my 96 diesel. That was a faulty sensor. My new F-150 Lariat supercrew 4 by is fully loaded. The rear seat DVD player is a blast when the storms knock out the power in the house. The nav system and sirius radio with mp3 are fun, and fill the niches. The White sand tri-coat draws admiring looks and compliments from all circles. The interior looks and feels luxurious. My fuel economy is overall around 19mpg. The 35.7 gallon tank comes in handy for those cross state round trips. The audiophile system is a force to be reckoned with. It shames the youngsters into retreat. Try the after market LED light.

Buy One! - 2004 Ford F-150
By larck - October 23 - 10:00 amThis is my first pickup. Decided on Ford F-150 due very positive reviews. I was always a small car person but this truck is an absolute pleasure to drive. Still getting used to the size and lower gas mileage though! The build quality is superior to the Honda Odyssey I bought two years ago, which we still own and will keep for a while (I drive the truck and gave my car to my daughter). I shopped Chevy and Toyota and in my opinion neither came close. The Toyota had too many rattles right off the lot and I have been burned too many times by Chevy.

Comments - 2002 Ford F-150
By saber - October 21 - 2:00 amExcellent basic, full-size truck. Does exactly what it is designed to do, that is be a basic, large truck. With 255 size tires on 16 inch wheels it sits a little higher than I would like for ease of entry/exit. Tilt steering wheel would help a lot. V-6 engine is plenty for my use. I would like better gas mileage. Power mirrors, door locks, and windows would make the large cab easier to operate, but it is still a great basic full-size truck. Limited slip differential excellent on slick roads.

Love it. - 2002 Ford F-150
By Cogiej - October 15 - 4:35 pmI bought this truck new. In over 5 years, It needed brakes once, a ball joint, and a set of rear springs. The factory steel bumper needs a repaint. Thats all the bad news. Now for the good news. On the highway the 4.2 liter gets 20mpg for real! It can tow a 5800lb trailer at 65mph and still get 12-13mpg! The truck has never let me down.

Good ole blackie - 1995 Ford F-150
By rudyt - October 15 - 1:13 pmNice pickup. Runs perfect. Only had minor issues except for the last one which no mechanic has yet to diagnose. Fuel efficient 6cyl engine. Very strong motor when hauling or towing.

My F-150 - 2006 Ford F-150
By LUIS - October 14 - 11:09 amI used to drive a Silverado and its performance was OK, but its interior design cannot compare with the one from the F-150. Now I can pull more weight as my boat and work requirements demand. Its engine is quiet and powerful, so I recognize that I have to maintain it properly.

2001 F-150 Super Crew - 2001 Ford F-150
By Rick Henne - October 9 - 10:00 amAfter driving this model, I will never own a car for daily driving again. I will also never consider another brand. It was comfortable from the first test drive, no need to get used to driving, even with being higher in the air than I was used too. It has been an all around pleasure to drive.

Best Truck For Me. - 2010 Ford F-150
By Bob > - October 8 - 1:20 amUnbelievably comfortable. Only options I went with: Limited slip differential, trailer tow package, and skid plates. Wish I had opted for sync. and Satellite radio. The crew cab is spacious and versatile. The front bench seat is more comfortable then most buckets, bolstered so you do not slide around when driving. Every control is perfectly located the vents are adjustable and in the right spots. The 4.6 engine mated to the 6 speed transmission is magic. MPG roughly 18 highway and 15.5 city so far. Fit and finish is superb. Love this truck.
