Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Shame on me - 2007 Ford F-150
By Lorne - November 2 - 10:29 pmJust purchased my 2nd F150. Told myself I wasnt going to buy another Ford truck again.I was tricked by the interior and exterior design and style of the truck, far superior to any of the others. My problem is with the way the truck shifts. The 4 speed auto feels lazy and sluggish when shifting. Also, the rear end clunks when the tranny downshifts when accelerating from a lower speed.(same as my 1999 F150). With the O/D off it doesnt make the noise?? I also can feel the windshield wiper vibrations through the brake and gas pedals. Very annoying. There is minor idle vibration as well. I would not have purchased this truck if I had noticed these issues during my lengthy 10 minute test drive.

Truck that has had it all, and then some - 1997 Ford F-150
By Marc Mendoza - November 1 - 10:00 amHaving had this truck for almost 5 years, it still feels the same as when I drove it off the lot. It has taken me as far as central North America to upper Canada. Never having to warm it up in the winter, will always keep me running.

2004 Lariet - 2004 Ford F-150
By mdhodge - November 1 - 9:54 amBest truck I have ever owned period. Dealership is the greatest also. I have purchased trucks for the last 30 years and none have the ride or low noise of this vehicle.

F 150 Super Crew - 2005 Ford F-150
By Steve Melton - October 30 - 11:13 pmGood overall truck, nice interior with leather captain chairs with floor shifter and console. Build quality is so far been outstanding. Much stiffer ride than 2001 F150 I traded. Dealer easy to work with

Best Vehicle I have Owned! - 2004 Ford F-150
By Michael - October 30 - 9:13 amOnly problem was initial dealership paint repair. No other dealer visits in 32K miles. Noticeable increase in wind & tire noise. Ride quality is degrading but probably due to use on washboard back roads and rough two tracks (though still only minor squeaks & rattles). Interior cloth stains easily & is difficult to clean. 5.4l gets 15 mpg at 70mph - ouch!.

Ford Expert - 1995 Ford F-150
By ERowe - October 29 - 11:40 pmI have owned every truck in the Ford line, Ranger,2 Explorers, Bronco, 2xF150s. Without question, the 94-96 F150s is a better truck than most pickups available. Ford Trucks are as tough as the toe nails on an elephant except for the transmissions! The trucks will nickel and dime you to death with little problems such as rear end gears(not so little) wiper/window motors, lamps, lighting, fuses, wiring etc..... There was a failure of research and development because they are a pain to work on but I love them! I am forever a Ford man!

Great and Strong Truck - 2007 Ford F-150
By WOW - October 29 - 8:49 pmGreat truck so far. Been driving it a week and am very impressed. This truck is definitely not built for speed, but it has so much torque. This is a "mans truck". Just by touching the gas, you will be up to hwy speed pretty quickly and never will never even see your RPMs go above 2300. I can just imagine the power when I start pulling my camper. Aside from the engine, the build and design of the truck is by far my personal favorite of all the trucks. It just looks American and built Ford tough!

2004 F-150 FX4 - 2004 Ford F-150
By Alaska Wolf - October 29 - 10:00 amFord got it right again! The 2004 F- 150 is everything they claimed, and more as far as Im concerned. Ultra quiet, responsive, good-looking and surprisingly agile for a full size truck. It even gives tricked out Jeeps a run for the money off-road and pulls them out of bogs very well!!! I love my new F-150!

FX4 - 2005 Ford F-150
By GD - October 28 - 4:50 amFX4 with leveling kit, cold intake, Magnaflow dual exhaust. The throttle response is much better with modifications and even a little better gas mileage.
