Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

  • FX4 07 - What a deal - 2007 Ford F-150

I have never owned a truck before. The seats in this are unbelievable - Comfortable. I debated much about the super vs crew cab, I have four kids. So far the supercab does not appear to be a problem. I feel like a king driving this truck. I am amazed how well it handles bumps. It is a little rocky while driving the highway. The Chevy 1500 does have some advantages over the F150 but the 150 has a better reputation.

  • Have you Driven a Ford Lately? - 2003 Ford F-150

This truck is the best to come out of Detroit in a while!! Traded my 97 Nissan Hardbody for it as a graduation present to myself! What can i say, i havent had the truck long enough to report any problems, but so far im thrilled. I almost slept in it the first week. Comfortable and nicely designed interior, gobs of torque, adequate horsepower, capable 4 wheel drive, smooth ride (this is a truck?!?!) If you want a nice machine, then the F150 is for you!!

  • A real keeper of a pickup - 1996 Ford F-150

Bought this standard 2 door 8 ft bed 1996 F150 in 2000 just because I wanted a pickup. Since then I lived in rural IL south of Kankakee for 2 years and rural SE Georgia the last 7 years. It had 21k on it when I bought it and its pushing 95k now. The only problem is a worthless maintenance idiot light on the speedometer that turns itself on and off at will and tires that tend to go flat when a nail or railroad spike gos into one of them. Hey, I can deal with that! Without a doubt best and most enjoyable vehicle Ive ever owned. I fully expect to be still driving it in 2017!

  • Dont buy this truck! - 2006 Ford F-150

I bought this truck new last year. I travel alot for my job, so I need something comfortable and reliable. When I was in Mississippi, I was driving about 30 mph on a back road when it sounded like I hit a roadside bomb. My truck stopped. I got out only to find a huge puddle of coolant, pieces of metal and what I later discovered was transmission fluid. they towed the truck to a Ford dealership in Memphis Tennessee, and found out that my transmission blew up. The force cracked the engine block, broke the suspension, broke the radiator, and cracked the trucks frame! So I was stuck 7 hrs away from home with a totaled truck, trying to find a new car, and I missed my daughters birthday!

  • The definition of Comfort and Style - 2008 Ford F-150

I love my 2008 F150 Limited! The style, the comfort, the ride, the sound system. Its all there. This truck is such a pleasure to drive, and is so comfortable, I honestly dont mind sitting in traffic. The heated captains chairs and sound system will make you forget about all of your cares. Lots and lots of cabin space and conveniently located controls.

  • I chose F150 over Tundra- honest! - 2007 Ford F-150
    By -

This is my first truck- and first American purchase in 15 years. I originally had my heart set on a Tundra. My company fleet manager recommended Ford F150s for the reliability. I was skeptical but after test driving the Ford, I fell in love. (also test drove Dodge and Chevy) Great power and excellent handling! Yes, the Tundra and Chevy are more powerful and quicker "by the numbers", but the Ford just felt solid and sure-footed. 300hp is all I need around town. Nice big industrial-grade interior (Im 63") designed for people my size. My kids love it too- its like a big Tonka truck. Ive got the 5.4l V8 FX2 Sport SuperCrew. Nice job, Ford-you brought me back to American made!

If you want a REAL truck, this is the one to get. Power, comfort, amenities ... too many unbelievable features to list. The overhead rail system is pretty sweet too. It responds great, and is willing to do just about anything you want, and go wherever.
