Model Overview:

The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.

The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Dont like the limited use guidelines when in 4 wheel drive on pavement. Steering while in 4 wheel drive binds up a bit when in tight turns. MPG has averaged 12.5 - 12.7.

  • I love my F-150 SuperCrew - 2016 Ford F-150

This is my third F-150 SuperCrew. I have been happy with the first two, but the 2016 takes that up several notches. Other than the multitude of bells and whistles, the first thing i noticed was the quietness and smoothness of the ride. The instrument panel provides a lot of information in a very readable display. The loading ramps are a great design. If I have one disappointment, it is with the way the bed extender fence is mounted to the truck - the tail lights must be removed to access the nut that holds the mounting screw in place. I wasnt sure about the Eco-boost engine, but the sales guy recommended it, and I am not disappointed. It seems to have plenty of power and acceleration. I get a lot of ooh and ahs when I show my truck to my friends, and some say that a truck shouldnt be this luxurious.

  • Love this truck - 2005 Ford F-150

This is the first American vehicle I have bought since US vehicle quality went down the tubes in the early 80s. I drive my truck on road and off, highway and local, through extremely bad weather (hurricanes) and I have not had a single problem with this truck. Ive hauled lumber in the bed, and pulled single axle trailers with this truck, and it has been great. The sunroof and 6 CD changer has been great, the heated seats are fantastic, and the AC works fine in our 100+ degree summers here. Ford just sent me a letter extending the coverage on the fuel injectors for 10 years....but I have not had any problems. I use premium gas and get oil and tires serviced on time. This is a great truck

  • Very Satisfied - 2007 Ford F-150

This is my 2nd new F150 in 4 yrs, just love this trucks everything from the Power to Design both exterior and interior. Even though its just a 4x2 has great traction off roading and recently just made one of my 2 annual trips to Mexico and of course it did great on the Mexican Highways cruising at 95 m.p.h non stop it got about 17 mpg not to bad. What only bothers me and have been told by my selling dealer that the clunking noise that it makes when holding down the brakes and steering is normal even though I dont think it is normal, did not have that problem 03 F150.

  • Recall Time For Ford Again - 2007 Ford F-150
    By -

I have a 2007 ford f150 Stx 4.6L. At idle it shakes so bad I had to put a pillow behind my back. Several times it even stalled. Ford said all these trucks do this. It is a natural characteristic of the truck to run rough. I say it is time to recall and fix the design flaw these trucks have.

  • Best truck made - 2008 Ford F-150

Ive had this F-150 XL with the 5.4l engine for almost 6 months now and it has once again proved itself. Im a general contractor for a concrete company in north Texas and I do a lot of driving. This truck gets the crap beat out of it and it just keeps asking for more. So Ford keep up the good work. I cant wait to see your 09 F- 150

  • Great Truck - 2007 Ford F-150

So far the truck has been outstanding. Last truck was a 1981 F 150 so the change is incredible. Took two trips in the last month, one of 2000 miles and the other 1200 miles. Doesnt ride as well as my previous vehicle (2005 Towncar) but great for a truck. Only problem is the gas mileage is atrociaous. Ford needs a six speed automatic.

Overall this is a great truck! Its nice to drive a big truck and have all the luxury options to go with it. I can haul almost anything and everything, and still enjoy all of its interior features. The ride is smooth and quiet. The exterior looks sporty and there are many upgrades and accessories that you can to the style of your choosing.
