Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Awesome Truck - 2015 Ford F-150
By RDStrat - January 13 - 5:30 pmThe 2015 F-150 is plain out awesome. Ford engineers out did themselves with the redesign of this truck. From the aluminum body to the engine choices, this is one high tech machine. The 5.0L engine has brass ones compared to the 5.4 in my previous truck. It sounds sweet too! The interior is superior to any other truck out there. Its super comfy but also designed for the working person. No chintzy little buttons here. Its a work horse disguised as a luxury vehicle. Ive always owned Ford trucks. I had my last F-150 for 14 years. No body rot or major issues when I traded it for the 2015. Actually the only reason I still dont have it is because I fell in love with the 2015 model and just had to have one. I have no doubt it will last me just as long...if not longer.

Excellent Truck! - 2007 Ford F-150
By Stephen O. - January 11 - 6:33 pmThis is my second F150 of the current design. My first was a base model regular cab 05. The first one was great, and this one has even more! I think the interior is very spacious and comfortable. It is stylish, and the cab is laid out well. The exterior is gorgeous... The best looking truck on the market, in my opinion! I have only put 700 miles on this one so far, but I have been impressed. Build quality overall is good, though I do have a bit of a rattle from the retractible cup holder. Also, there is a bit of an air intake wine or whistle during acceleration. I added a K&N intake to the 4.6L V8, and it sounds amazing! Improved the acceleration too! I highly recommend these trucks!

First year review 22300 miles - 2004 Ford F-150
By Trickhorn - January 11 - 4:50 pmWell, 22300 miles and one year later its still a great truck. No mechanical problems at all. The fit and finish of the Lariat interior is comperable to a sedan. I would recommend getting the split bench seat in the front because it comes in handy when you need to load six passengers. The stick shift looks neat but its not practical. The big V8 guzzles gas. I avg.<15 mpg. with a lot of in town driving. It towes heavy loads well. I have had it in 4 wheel drive several times in muddy pastures and it worked fine. The bed walls are very high and can make it difficult to see when backing. It also makes it difficult to get in and out of the bed or manipulate a load without climbing.

Best Trucks on the Road - 2000 Ford F-150
By Larry - January 9 - 7:03 pmThis is the best truck out there. No problems with anything. One thing I have found the dealer does the best work on the truck. I am afraid to trade and buy another one as I can not get anything for this one and it is so reliable.

Very Impressed - 2007 Ford F-150
By bkaufhol - January 8 - 10:09 amThis was my first Ford truck after two Dodge Dakotas, and I am very impressed and pleased with my new F-150. First Ford truck in the family since my Dad had a 75 F-250 and while the ruggedness and dependability have not changed, thankfully the styling and comfort have. It is an excellent vehicle.

1992 F-150 with 200,000+ - 1992 Ford F-150
By C.A. - January 5 - 6:05 pmI bought my 1992 F-150 XLT with 100,000 miles already on it. I had to put an new automatic transmission in it with in six months. I had a small electrical fire when I put a new alternator on it, the rotors over heates and the calipurs were of poor quality, and I have had five accidents in this truck. Once you get past the minor problems, its not a bad truck 225,000+ on the original 6 cyl motor. I do love this truck.

Style + Luxury + Performance = Lariat - 2007 Ford F-150
By Alan - January 4 - 11:18 pmI have 4,200 miles on my Lariat and absolutley love it! Its very comfortable, handles well, looks great & performs very well. The heated leather seats, great stereo and all the other amenities of the Lariat are great! Shifting to 4 wheel drive is as easy as turning a knob and comes in handy on snowy roads. The 3:73 Limited Slip rearend may give it somewhat of an edge in the performance department. I test drove another Lariat that seemed very sluggish and my truck actually gets with it pretty well. I have no problem keeping up or leaving other trucks or cars behind when I get the urge. Gas mileage is fair at 15 - 16 MPG mixed city/hiway miles. I am enjoying this truck immensly!

Was a mistake to buy - 2007 Ford F-150
By neveragain - January 2 - 5:08 pmIn the four months I have owned the vehicle, 34 days were spent with it in the shop. They are continuously replacing the air bags as the panels keep warping. (3 on drivers side, 2 on passenger side) The steering wheel was replaced as well as the exterior temperature sensor. The four wheel drive went out after about 5 minutes of using it. Gas mileage keeps getting worse and worse (down to 10.6 mpg) and to wrap up the experience, it has already had to be repainted as ford missed some spots and it started to peel. Not what I would expect for $38,000. Would never buy a Ford truck again.

Best truck I ever owned. - 2004 Ford F-150
By Pudley - January 2 - 10:00 amIve owned several trucks and this is by far the best I have ever had. It is screwed together very well, comfortable, excellent vision to the sides and rear. The controls are large enough - no tiny buttons or knobs. Systems are intuitive and everything is within reach. Finally enough power in this truck and build quality rivals the best of the pack. Drives and handles very well even with the 18" tires. It was worth waiting for this one. Ford got it right!
