Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

Love my Harley Truck - 2007 Ford F-150
By Bennie - April 14 - 7:55 pmThis is the greatest truck ever. It is so fun to drive. Just sitting in it with the sunroof, leather seats and all the chrome and Harley emblems makes me feel like I am on my Harley Davidson Roadking! The rumble of the stock exhaust just adds to the feeling! Handles great and runs good with the standard 5.4 engine. Everyone gives it a second look on the road. No complaints here. Fuel mileage is not great, but who cares when you feel good about your ride!

Good old truck - 2001 Ford F-150
By ray - April 14 - 11:48 amThis is the 2nd F150 I have owned. This truck has been very good to me. The only problem was the recall on the crusie control. The truck has pulled my fifth wheel ever since I bought it. It pulls it very good. The last truck I had a 96 f150 was also very good to me. I also pulled with that one from day one. No prblems after 145,000 miles when I traded for this one. This truck is a lot better than my 2000 Chevy S10 I have. Piace of junk that one. I would tell anyone to buy a new F150 if they got a chance.

Great truck, awful paint from Dearborn - 2007 Ford F-150
By NeverAgain - April 14 - 11:45 amI love the truck itself, its easily the nicest looking truck on the road. Ive only had mine for three weeks, but its going into the shop to be repainted because someone at the Dearborn plant didnt know how to paint. On three parts of the truck, there are paint flaws. Not just flaws, but actual debris in the paint, like little specks of sand were on the truck when it was painted. Because of this, this is the last Ford I buy. The consumer shouldnt have to be forced QA department. So, yeah -- awesome truck, awful fit and finish.Word to the wise: Do not buy a Ford made in Dearborn. And carefully inspect the vehicle in full sunlight before you do. Look it over and over again.

Great Truck. - 2006 Ford F-150
By Steve - April 9 - 9:42 pmI dont have this truck anymore but I had it for almost 2 years and put 24000 miles on it. I had to get rid of it early because I was about to go over the mileage for the lease. This truck was great, the only reason I didnt buy it was the bed was too small. Ive never had any problems with it. The gas mileage wasnt bad for the way it was driven. I averaged 14-16 going to work and on long trips around 19. The power was good but i wanted a little more so the Edge chip worked great for that, like a whole new motor. The chip also improved gas mileage too. It was great on the beach, towing and the interior was really roomy and comfortable. Im looking to get another one soon with a 6.5 foot bed.

Great truck - 2007 Ford F-150
By Dave in Raleigh - April 9 - 10:01 amIts the price/performance ratio that got me. I wanted towing capacity and 4WD, and got such a great deal, I couldnt pass it up. Got tired of snooty foreign dealers who wouldnt deal. Thanks to them, I got an excellent truck - it rides great for a commute, or when I tow the boat. I dont need sportscar acceleration- its a truck!

ford f-150 supercrew - 2002 Ford F-150
By The Bob-o - April 8 - 4:06 pmgreat truck. I can haul 5 people plus all our stuff and dogs in the back. I purchased a cap which really helps with storage. I have over 47,000 miles and it still runs great. Great ride. First brake job was very expensive. Over 500.00. It seems as though parts are very expensive. Power moonroof was a great option.Go with the 17" wheels, tires.Price shop. I saved over 4,000 dollars by shopping at 7 different dealers until I got the best price.

All Aboard! - 2006 Ford F-150
By PauL - April 5 - 9:27 pmNeeded room for 6 people. This one fits the bill perfectly. Comfort is A1. But when the back windows are rolled down, sounds like a freight train and the high pitch humming sound kills your ears. The front end shimmies even with new tires. Really disapointed. Gas miliage stinks too. Seems as though braking could be better.

Quarter of a million miles still OK - 1999 Ford F-150
By karaokeman - April 5 - 11:29 amBought it new, dealer installed lowering, 2" front, 3" rear, rides great, very fast, comfortable, easy access. Tricked out with $6,000 extras, snug top tonneau cover, air lifts, running boards, pin striping, etc., still get compliments on quality & looks. Never used 100,000 extended warrenty, however R & R differential at 158,000, and R & R radiator at 190,000. Otherwise just routine maintnance. Only disappointment is brakes, low pedal, too much effort, warp at drop of the hat, & early wearout until changed to drilled rotors & ceramic pads at 120,000...should have done this when new. With front end lowered, went through factory & top-of-the-line Big O with 28,000 to 33,000.

king of the road - 2003 Ford F-150
By nathan25 - April 3 - 10:00 amI owned a silverado prior to buying this truck and the ford wins hands down. More room, comfort and capability makes up for what little difference there is in performance. My wife steals it at every possible opportunity.
