Overview & Reviews
The Ford F-150 is the star of the long-running F-Series line, which stretches back to the post-World War II era, and millions of F-150s have been sold in that time. Originally conceived as a rugged, no-frills workhorse, the Ford F-150 has since morphed into a well-appointed, versatile rig with numerous trim levels that serve a wide range of shoppers, including weekend warriors who need room for the family and the occasional trip to the hardware store.
The full-size pickup segment is so competitive these days that it's hard to pick a clear favorite. But new or used, the F-150 is a great choice, with recent models offering cutting-edge features like turbocharged engines and the MyFord Touch electronics interface. Thanks to the Ford F-150's countless configurations and incredible popularity, you're almost guaranteed to find one that meets your needs.

FX2 - 2007 Ford F-150
By Problem Solver 706 - April 23 - 7:43 pmI bought my truck when they were giving an incentive to push out the old and in with the new. I love my truck better than the 2006 Silverado I owned prior. The style and elegance are outstanding followed by a great ride. I put it on the road from GA to VA Beach and it road great.

Helpful hints - 2004 Ford F-150
By black stallion - April 22 - 10:24 pmI have been over-all completely satisfied with my F150 even thought I have had to have my tranny rebuilt which is kind of expensive. I am a firm believer that you can get a good one and a bad one in anything and I believe I got the one with the tranny problem, after reading these other reviews I still believe I have a good truck, plan on keeping mine till the wheels fall off then get another one. By the way to all the folks having a problem with break squealing try putting ceramic brake pads one the truck not only does it stop the squealing but I havent had to clean my wheels since putting them on. They leave behind no brake dust.

Im convinced- Ford builds a Great Truck - 2007 Ford F-150
By GaDawg - April 22 - 1:49 pmI must admit- I was an "import" guy since I started driving 20 years ago. My last cars have been Infiniti and Lexus. But, I wanted a truck and shopped them all- Nissan, Toyota, Dodge, GM- and Ford got my business. Its been 6 months and this truck has been absolutely rock solid. This truck inspires confidence both on and off the road- and can haul anything without hesitation. Plus, its a great highway vehicle- quiet and smooth. I got the FX2 sport, and I love the looks, cool- big stance, but not overdone (like the Tundra), classy, and purpose built. Now I know why Ford is the #1 truck in the USA- they earn it. I would definitely buy this truck again.

Best truck you can buy - 2008 Ford F-150
By truck - April 20 - 9:16 pmI have tested all the trucks on the market even for au ugly Titan and ugly Tundra. GMC truck is overall good, however, I dont like its small mirror. Dodge 4.7L engine has less gas mileage. HEMI engine has more power. Tundra is interesting. It labels 381 hp. However, its real world hp is simmilar to the 4.6L Ford I am buying. Toyota cheats new buyers that way. I am atruck person who only care real world hp, not hp on the paper. I also care smooth ride that only Ford can give. I care tough frame also.

Ugh, the fuel! - 2006 Ford F-150
By Hard to please - April 20 - 7:34 amI have owned some of the best middle class American vehicles including a Dodge van with the best motor ever, the 318! However the 2006 F-150 is the best all around vehicle this picky 6-4" body has ever driven! The only drawback is the fuel cost. Which is everybodys right now. But, 16 mpg combined driving is ridiculous in the 21st century. Buy this truck if you have a big wallet, you dont care about your "carbon footprint, or if your like me you hope that in a couple of years there will be a motor conversion so that it can run on water.

Now I know how "Ford Tough" feels - 2007 Ford F-150
By FORMER Chevy Guy - April 18 - 9:53 pmThis truck is a serious machine. Ive driven GM trucks for decades. After being tired of replacing transmissions and large repair bills after 100,000 miles, I decided to give the Blue Egg boys a shot. his truck does not disappoint. I believe the GM might be slightly quicker in 0-60, but put a trailer on the back, and youll appreciate the Fords torque advantage. Guys - Quit wondering! Go get one!

Great truck at a great price! - 2005 Ford F-150
By Jamison Turner - April 18 - 5:26 pmI have been completely satisfied with this vehicle from the day I bought it. It is a great designed vehicle that drives unlike what you would think something this big would handle like. It is extremely roomy and will hold five to six adults without a problem.

Outstanding! - 2008 Ford F-150
By ETexas1000 - April 17 - 6:17 pmI wanted a truck to haul building materials over long distances and looks good while doing it. Thats this truck, and I love it. I added some chrome wheels and accessories, and still kept the pricetag under $26k. Fuel economy is great, I took a 500 mi. trip, and rolled into my destination with 1/8 of a tank of fuel left, and this was with a 1000# load up and down mountainsides! Great truck! Thanks FoMoCo!

Ford F150 Lariat Supercrew 4WD - 2005 Ford F-150
By Reggie - April 17 - 5:30 amGreat truck. Drives great on the highway and fantastic for moving the kids around. Pulls loaded trailer with ease at highway speeds. 4WD system works good. I prefer the part time on the fly system. The leather seats are nice as well as the memory seat positions and the movable pedals. Highway feel is more like a luxury car than a truck, but it definitely is a truck when you need it. This thing is a work horse.

Big Positive Surprises for Me - 2001 Ford F-150
By MustangGT - April 14 - 8:21 pmXLT short box. It just keeps on running. Now past 120,000 miles and I started with 12,000 so I got my moneys worth. One set of tires, another coming up soon, 3 batteries, one super set of brakes, better check on them again too. But thats it, in 108,000 miles except for the 30 oil changes. 17 mpg with the a/c running. 19 mpg driving real nice without the a/c. Great truck that just keeps surprising me overall with reliability. Had one ton in the bed once, the nose was up, but I made it the 12 miles needed. If there is a bad point, I dont like it in the rain. Its a squirrel. As long as its dry, this truck has surpassed my expectations.
