The interior gets a minor refresh that includes a revised instrument cluster. XLT models now come with additional standard features, while the high-line XLT Premium gets a new monochrome exterior look. The Adrenalin model now features an even more powerful premium audio system. All models get a flexible fuel feature that allows them to run on ethanol-blended fuel, as well as traditional gasoline. Finally, there is no longer a manual transmission option on XLS models.

  I love the sporty look of my Sport Trac. I drove a Jeep prior to this purchase and I will never go back.

  this replaced my 91 ranger as a highway travel vehicle. liked that truck and kept it for local running around. the 4.0 is an outstanding engine. have 239k on the p/u and still going strong. tranny feels solid. ride is as expected for a p/u bed vehicle. overall performance is quite good. steering is excellent . brakes are quite good and responsive. I like the 16" tires. the composit bedliner is a great item. interior is roomie and comfortable, although for long trips the drivers seat starts to feel like it needs more bottom cushion support. altogether, this vehicle tickles me pink and will be around for a long time.

  Cost me about $16995 plus tax with all the rebates and discounts. Great vehicle for the money. Would have loved better fuel economy -- but its a SUV so what do you expect. Very practical for around the home -- 5 pass and a pick up bed with a cover -- cool

  I traded my 98 Eddie Bauer Explorer on a brand new Ford Freestyle and was miserable. I finally talked my wife into taking the Freestyle off my hands so I could get a small truck and in steps the Sport Trac Adrenalin. I couldnt be happier with everything about this vehicle from the great styling to the smooth driving. I bought a used 04 with 38K miles and it takes off smoother than any vehicle Ive ever owned. The 4 litre, 210 HP engine is plenty to pull this truck along and Im sure it will handle my bass boat come spring. This truck is roomy inside and has all the amenities I need.

  This has been a great vehicle so far. I think that as long as the routine maintenance is performed that it will last a long time. There have been a few items inside that havent held up. The paint is cheap around the stereo console, the air vents do not always stay open, and the steering wheel cover is very worn.

  Driving my truck gives me confidence that I wont stay stranded on the side of the road. I have never had a problem with my truck. Unlike friends who bought other makes (new) and have a stack load of repair bills. I bought new. Its my pride and joy.

  i lover driving my sports trac,it handles beautifully. so far no problems.im surprised the editors rating was 7.2,but i do agree it handles better as a suv than a truck. anyway i love,im a first time truck buyer and im enjoying the ride.

  The 2004 Explorer Sport Trac is fun to own and fun to drive. Very good styling inside and out. 4 foot bed extending to 6 foot with bed extender is a nice option. Power rear window is very nice.

  the vehicle is fun to drive. the rubber flooring is a must have. Everything cleans up well and the cooler/console/armrest is very functional. I believe this to be a under rated vehicle that people need to take a second look at.
