Fun little car - 1992 Ford Escort
By Keithc - August 9 - 2:00 amThis car is quick and very fun to drive. This car also has style with its fog lamps, alloy wheels, and spoiler. This car is cheap and youll have a blast driving it.

92 Escort LX 4 DR - 1992 Ford Escort
By joshee23 - May 28 - 2:00 amAlthough an Escort, I must say I am VERY pleased with this vehicle. I have put better than 100,000 miles on this vehicle since 1995 and only have had to replace the tie-rod ends and the normal maintenance items like spark plugs, filters, and tires. It isnt a glamorous car but to get to-and-fro, it performed well beyond my expectations.

Great little car - 1992 Ford Escort
By Male Escort - January 31 - 2:00 amAmazingly reliable car for the price if you can find one. It is by far the best car I have ever owned (thats why I still have it). It has only cost me app. $600. in repairs in the 6 yrs. Ive had it. It has paid for itself over & over again!!

Wish All Cars Were As Enduring - 1992 Ford Escort
By redrider31730 - January 11 - 2:00 amThis was my first car. I hope I get as much satisfaction out of my future vehicles as I got out of this 1992 Ford Escort LX. The only thing I had to replace was 2 timing belts and the AC stop working in this past year. It took me and my own 250000 miles. Thats the same distance to the moon. I just traded it for newer vehicle. To the workers of Ford. . .Salute.

Stay Away - 1992 Ford Escort
By metrolover - November 24 - 2:00 amCar has left us stranded a few different times in the past five years. Twice with transmission problems and once the timing belt broke. Car has run good most of time but I dont dare drive too far from home anymore. I have heard from others that transmission is problem for this car.

Strong as a billy goat - 1992 Ford Escort
By jim7heaven7 - October 10 - 2:00 amI recently got rid of my 1992 Ford Escort LX with Auto trans. My wife burned out the tranny, it had 118,000 miles on it and running strong. I had purchased it for college commutes and it worked great and I love hatchs. This car took me through cold winters and blistering hot summers. I decided to let it go because they were wanting to put a re-built tranny on her and it would cost more than the car was worth, so I gave it to my father in-law and he fixed the tranny and is now driveing again.

Zippy little thing - 1992 Ford Escort
By JAmes - September 25 - 2:00 amI just got the car a few days ago with 120k on it.. Though i Owned a 1984 ford thunderbird before with over 200 hp, the 88 hp of the escort is suprisingly more then enough to zip around town..I give this car 2 thumbs up

Unbelievably Reliable - 1992 Ford Escort
By TLIY - September 13 - 2:00 amWhile not the best looking car on the road, I cannot believe how long this car has lasted me. I have 210,000 miles on this thing and its still going. It still has the original muffler for cripes sake. Ive been wanting to buy a new car for a couple years now but cant justify it because this thing simply wont die.

By ford_lover - June 5 - 2:00 amfun to drive but it has overheated and now blew the manaul trans after it seems all the trans fluid leaked out. Also, I hate the automatic shoulder belt system!
