  • good value - 2010 Ford Edge

Only had it a month but am impressed with ride and highway manners. Bought in Germany so rode the autobahn for the first 600 miles, 19 mpg varying the speed between 50-100 mph, with one smooth run up to 125 and back. So far very happy with my first Ford product. Oh, BAD orange peel on rear hatch will be repainted by Ford but the rest is great.

  • Outstanding Choice - 2010 Ford Edge

Without a doubt, this is the best vehicle of about 75 that we have owned or leased over the years -- including our other vehicle which is a Honda. The Edge has a great ride, a very smooth and responsive engine, a nice and easy-to-use interior layout and controls, comfortable seats (and that is from someone who has had major back problems for many years), very quiet, and all the luxury items that you would expect from a much more expensive vehicle. It is just the right size for driving around town, parking is a breeze, and it has very adequate luggage space for trips plus excellent space when the rear seat is folded down. From our perspective, we couldnt be happier with this vehicle.

  • Big Mistake - 2010 Ford Edge

I drove a number of different vehicles before making this purchase. I was impressed with the ride and liked the slightly larger, 3.5l motor that this car had. Unfortunately, the 3 versions of the car that I tested all had navigation, which I did not get. Heres the first problem. As someone has already pointed out the radio display is really awful. In addition, much of the information in the drivers information center thats available in other cars is not available on the Ford. You also have little choice with exit/entry lighting, etc. The car was delivered with a vibration making quality suspect. I kept the car for 10 days, then sold it at a big loss because I knew Id never be satisfied

  • Master Cylinder Brake Failure - 2010 Ford Edge
    By -

I had to take the Edge in at 5,400 miles because the brakes felt spongy. The Dealership says I need a Master Cylinder, but they had none is stock. I am without a vehicle as I wait for the Edge to be repaired. In this day and age, the Dealership should offer a loaner if they are going the keep the vehicle over 24 hours.

  • Pricey but Roomy - 2010 Ford Edge
    By -

Bought a 2010 Edge Limited FWD. I think the interior is pretty nice. The floor mats I think are too small though and prob wont protect the floor well in the winter. Cruise control is a pain to initiate, but after that its ok. Rear visibility out the rear window is poor- it seriously is. To improve it, fold down the rear center console arm. You can improve it further by folding down the rear seats. The ride is awesome- very smooth on 20 inch wheels. Does feel slightly top heavy though, but just slightly. Seats are very comfy with the most leg room Ive seen. Touchscreen radio is awesome- sounds great. Dont buy one of these without it! Overall, this Ford is a dream to drive.
