Just as I was gonna give up on Ford - 1995 Ford Aerostar
By JustinSki - April 6 - 2:00 amThis van is a bear. I cant kill it. Ive doubled the milage on it, it taken every bit of abuse I can throw at it. This thing is tough. I bought it from a friend who apparently is clinically unable to change oil in a vehicle and he put 120,000 miles on it with no major repairs, and now Ive run it up to 220,000 with no repairs, worries, squeaks, rattles or concerns. Im in the process of selling it (need a full size) but it breaks my heart to see it go. Ford shoulda never killed this one off. Especailly to relace it with that garbage Windstar.

Not bad except - 1993 Ford Aerostar
By FoxyPaws - March 3 - 2:00 amHad the van for a month and a half... Have driven them previously and enjoyed the mix of workhorse with MPV tasks. Though this one is turning out to be a lemon. Ive had to replace the power steering, brake lines, emergency brake, clutch and pilot bearing (its a 5 speed standard tranny), Ignition lock and turn signal stalk. Im feeling iffy on keeping it.

Unique Ford Aerostar XL Sport - 1993 Ford Aerostar
By S. Hauer - February 26 - 2:00 amI have loved this car!! It does seem to have a problem with the differential (a clunk noise. And the ignition switch is particular, but I can easily demonstrate how to line up the key properly. (Minor problem) The driver sits up high for good vision. Good loading space and a rack on top. The sport model.

94 Aerostar EXT - 1997 Ford Aerostar
By Tomasina - February 5 - 2:00 amIts been a great family vehicle--lots of room for people and stuff truck chassis 4.0 delivers good power and 20mpg (more on trips)Repairs have been modest--should have never stopped making them! I would buy another in a minute--in fact I am getting a 97 in better shape and with less miles as we speak!

Better than MINIvans - 1996 Ford Aerostar
By vegman - January 27 - 2:00 amBought used with 153k miles. Lost intake manifold second day($650). Since then has been a good vehicle, normal wear and tear repairs. Comfortable, very very roomy, terrific in snow. Will miss it when it dies. GM products ASTRO/SAFARI are not as good.

Aerostar still going - 1995 Ford Aerostar
By Tony40 - January 11 - 2:00 amThis is my 4th Aerostar, and I still love it. I canÂ’t find anything out there to replace it without stepping up to a big van (to do this I would have to sacrifice my great fuel economy 18/23). I bought my first Aerostar, an 89, in 1991, put 192,000 miles on it. My next one was a 92 that I traded with 132,000 miles. My next one was a 91. It was totaled (rear-ended) with only 99,000 miles. My current Aerostar, I bought to replace the totaled 91, is a 1995 with 155,000 miles on it. I still take it on family vacations. Out of all 4 Aerostars, I have not done any engine overhauls or tranny jobs. Just normal repairs including changing fluids regularly.

The best - 1993 Ford Aerostar
By Family fun - December 19 - 2:00 amWe bought it with 87,000 miles on it and ran it up to 220,000 and it is still going with only minor repairs. (mostly general maintenance) We have been pulling a fairly large camper several times a year with absolutely no problems. Buy one if you get the chance.
