Overview & Reviews
A cool new sports coupe is offered through Eagle: it's called the Talon. Available with a turbo or normally aspirated engine, this little rocket redefines the inexpensive sports coupe. Available all-wheel drive and 190-horsepower distinguish the Talon from nearly everything else in this segment.

1990 Basic Eagle Talon Review - 1990 Eagle Talon
By pt_crusier - August 29 - 9:20 pmPurchased new in 1990, still own and only 15,000 miles on it, styling ahead of its time, my Batmobile cockpit. Black cherry with a black top. Love driving it real good cruiser. Only issues I have had with it is a $800 dollar clutch pedal replacement, present have a soft clutch pedal hoping it is an easy fix. Spent most of its life so far as a garage queen, in good shape for the year with all the original parts and original tires. The base model had a lot of nice features for the $. The only thing I wish I had was air , very noisy with the windows down. The car is still a head turner after 20 years, sporty, sexy and fast looking, one hot little sports coupe.

Woo Hoo! - 1990 Eagle Talon
By davidscott - October 28 - 2:00 amTurbo, AWD, leather! A great sports car for a Canadian climate. With some modifications, this car would beat nearly anything on the road. Amazing handling in the snow. Very fun to drive an very reliable despite thrashing the car every time behind the wheel. Very easy to modify to increase hp. Sweet turbo whistle followed by huge power.

Eagle Talon - 1990 Eagle Talon
By onecoolkat - February 29 - 2:00 am178,000 miles and still has a load of ZIP!. Plus really decent fuel mileage, especially for the power it puts forth, Cmon 2Ls competing with 5.0 Fords! Word of warning though is for finding mechanics for anything really, everyone seems to not want to work on it in small towns, and when you do find a place that will... it will cost too much, so if you find one you like, check out the things you want first... ie:Air conditiong, etc...

Love it - 1990 Eagle Talon
By mleger - November 25 - 2:00 amIve owned my Talon for 4 years now, and am really happy with the performance of the car, and its reliability. Its a ton of fun to drive in all weather conditions, and still looks good 14 years after it was first released. I have replaced the turbo, not an inexpensive thing to replace, but other than that, no other major repairs.

My low-flying Talon - 1990 Eagle Talon
By Jensen - September 15 - 2:00 amI bought this 1990 Eagle talon almost 2 years ago and have the time of my life driving it. The brakes in it arent that great so that is really the only problem with it. Otherwise, when it comes to speed and super-quick acceleration, the Eagle Talon does it. I have only lost one "race" on the hiway to any other car and that was an Acura Integra, otherwise, I am used to passing people with ease. The turbo is like magic. The interior is nicely built for the driver and the passenger but the two back seats are painfully small and can not comfortable seat four, but it can be done.

Gotten my $ worth - 1990 Eagle Talon
By Buehlz - July 10 - 2:00 amThis is the second 1990 Eagle Talon TSI AWD that I have owned. There is nothing that I can put this car down for it was ahead of its time when it was built in 1990. Just wish Eagle would have built on there strengths rather than to come up with what they have now a days

1990 Eagle Talon AWD - 1990 Eagle Talon
By chwerks - March 27 - 2:00 amThis vehicle required a new transaxle at about 120,000 miles. My tendancy is to blame the fact that I autocrossed it with the SCCA the first couple years I owned it. I replaced it with a used unit with 80,000 miles on it, and I have driven it an additional 60,000 miles with no further trouble. It does use a qt. of oil between changes at 3,000, but still runs strong and gets good mileage.
