Overview & Reviews
The Stratus coupe has dropped for 2006, along with the SE and ES models of the sedan. The R/T model gets body-color ground effects, new wheels and a rear spoiler with magnesium wings. Inside, the R/T receives new leather seats and updated trim.
- Low pricing, solid handling, large trunk.
- Unrefined drivetrains, uncomfortable backseats, subpar build and materials quality, looks positively dull next to the Charger.

Great car for the money! - 2006 Dodge Stratus
By nightram - May 16 - 3:57 pmI have owned this car for about a month now, and it is great! I have really no complaints about it. I have had many cars in my day, but this one take the cake so far. It is a smooth ride, handles nice, and lloks good. Even the SXT looks sporty, and it is very nicely equipped for the money you pay. The only gripe I have is the weird shift it has every once in a while, but no car is ever perfect.

Good "First" New Car - 2006 Dodge Stratus
By Mike - December 20 - 3:56 pmThis is a great car if youre new to the "new car" market. Easy to drive, has what you need, and nice safety features as well. Back seat is spacious and the flip down seat is nice as well. Overall, the Stratus is a good sturdy car for the just-out-of- college buyer (like me).

The best car in town - 2006 Dodge Stratus
By dana - September 13 - 1:48 amThis car is nice and sporty, also it is very roomy in the back and has lots of power. I would recommend this car. It has everything that any other car has except for heated seats and navigation system, but thats ok because who needs all that. I just want the speed and the look because its a sporty car and fast. It is a womans car for sure.

Its an OK car - 2006 Dodge Stratus
By Rob - December 6 - 10:48 amI had the car two years and it was a OK car for what i gave for it. It sits low so its a bit odd to get in and out of. I have a thermostat housing crack (made of plastic) and it was under and back side of the engine so it was very hard to change out. Then the timing chain went out and they replaced two of them but they had to pull the cam shaft pulleys to get to it ($1,300). so if you have to work on it it sucks. It was quick and great gas mileage. Bottom line is dont pay a lot for the car. someone hit me and i got more for the car than i payed so it worked out for me.
