Overview & Reviews
Chrysler and Dodge have restyled most vehicles this year to bring out similarities and cohesiveness among the Chrysler group cars. To that end, the Stratus sedan receives a new front fascia, and R/T sedans get a monochromatic grille. Sedan interior changes include the addition of steering wheel-mounted audio controls and an auto-dimming rearview mirror, along with new door panels, new seat fabric and three new interior choices. Two new 16-inch wheel options, plus two new exterior colors have been added as well. Also this year, Stratus sedans without optional antilock brakes receive a downgraded braking system with rear drums in place of discs. On the plus side, traction control is now available when combined with antilock brakes. A manual transmission is no longer available. Changes to the coupe are minimal. The interior features a new "Satin Silver" finish on the center stack bezels, and door accents.
- Exceptional value, attractive shape, fun to drive.

Good car - 2004 Dodge Stratus
By Jo2knight - May 27 - 2:47 pmIve had this car for approximately for 2 months. This car has been absolutely wonderful. I paid an excellent price for the car. If you look at the inside of the car, you can tell the materials that its made with are very sturdy and look like they will last a while. The performance of the engine is superb. The car is front wheel drive so you have to be careful to not accelerate too fast and turn at the same time. Overall Im very happy with the car.

By KAL246 - May 19 - 2:45 pmIt is better then my old truck. I bought it because my truck was costing me an arm and leg. I am happy with it thus far. I like the way it drives. Its very comfortable and easy to drive. I could get in my car and drive for hours and still be comfortable in it.

Solid Car - 2004 Dodge Stratus
By Weav - April 15 - 2:39 pmI bought this RT as soon as the dealer could get it in 2003. I got every possible option except the engine block heater. Other than the significant amount of brake dust (that messes up the nice stock mag wheels) and a weird engine heave every now and then, this car is exceptional. Performance-wise, its sweet, with plenty of get-up for a non-supercharged V6. Style-wise, everyone loves it...the leather seats are very comfortable and the 8-way power seat makes it a perfect fit for anyone. Id buy another one in a heartbeat if I hadnt fallen in love with the Chrysler 300 SRT-8...

The Best - 2004 Dodge Stratus
By Lugo - April 6 - 2:00 pmIn the past 12 years I have 4 Chevys, 2 Pontiac, 1 Toyota and 2 Nissan cars and this Dodge Straus is the best. I like to drive on the highway Ensenada to Tijuana because its a great adventure. You can feel the power of the motor, and the great response to the curves. You have total control of the car, practically "glued to the road" and dont hear a noise. Its a quiet car, off road, the suspension is fantastic!! The fuel economy is very good. The brake system is good. You can stop the car very fast with the 4 disc brake system. The system sound is OK. I love this car!

Love It So Far ... - 2004 Dodge Stratus
By argus - March 10 - 10:00 pmBought an auto. Wouldve likely bought a 5spd had I found one. Transmission shifts just fine though-- Im impressed and overall extremely happy. Deep Red color is really beautiful--this car gets plenty of looks. It has more power than I need and not so much that Id get myself in trouble. Good job, Dodge

so far so good........ - 2004 Dodge Stratus
By lovemystratus03/04 - January 2 - 10:24 pmSo far so good. I bought my Stratus in March 2004 and I love it. It is fun to drive and has great handling. The V6 engine has a lot of get up and go. It is also pretty good on gas. The interior is spacious and the rear can hold my three kids (2 that are in booster seats) comfortably. The only thing that I would change is the console design and storage. Everything else I love!

2001 Stratus RT - 2004 Dodge Stratus
By Tig594 - November 6 - 9:58 amThis is the best car Ive ever owned. It is sporty and fun to drive and feels solid and safe underneath you. It looks good on the road and is comfortable and quite roomy on the inside. My boss got in and asked if it was a Mustang. Ive put a ton of miles on it (for work) and its been very reliable. It has excellent pick-up. Ive had no problems with it at all. Get a red one with a sun roof!
