Good price, good value - 1999 Dodge Stratus
By Randy - February 19 - 11:14 amExcellent gas mileage and dependability. I think it has a nice sharp sedan look and it rides very well with great acceleration. I was impressed with its road handling for an inexpensive car.

Ok car, not without its faults - 1999 Dodge Stratus
By Tleasy - July 28 - 2:00 amFront seats are not very comfortable. Not recommended for long trips. History of trouble with heads on motor. Common problem at around 60,000 miles to have heads warp. Can cause extensive motor damage if not checked regularly.

Nightmare - 1999 Dodge Stratus
By lindap - February 21 - 2:00 amIt has been a nightmare! We have replaced the head gasket, transmission, speed sensor twice, serpentine belt, alternater twice and the starter. This car has been in the shop more than out and Chrysler has been no help. We would never buy another Chrysler product

Could have done better - 1999 Dodge Stratus
By pcotrash - March 4 - 2:00 amMy Dodge Status still gets me back and forth to work but I have had several problems with it that shouldnt happen when you buy a brand new vehicle. Gas gauge stopped working and left me stranded in the middle of nowhere at 1130pm. Also have had to replace speed sensor, had the rotors turned 6 months ago and they alreadly need turning again. Several other problems also.
