this car is sweet, very qiuck for $21000. 0-60 in 5.3 and 1/4 mile in 13.9: this car is best known for performance.

  • Not a bad car for the buck - 2004 Dodge Neon

I bought this car used a little over two years ago this month and I was well pleased with it. I fell for the style and the color of it. Mine is electric blue with a spoiler. A couple of things I dont like are that the car is very harsh over bumps and over exaggerates on any kind of road its on. Ive had to change the transmission at 75,000 miles which I was upset about. The interior is ok but I feel like Dodge could of taken it a little further than just cheap hard plastic. I like the seats in the neon as well however I cant stand that everything stains the seats (even water). Back seats sit 4 comfortably even 6,0 guys like me, the fronts seats are cramped. The car overall is a good buy

  • Theft for this car - 2004 Dodge Neon

This car is a good car and is reliable and simple to fix if something is wrong but the theft on this car is terrible! Ive had my car for 5yrs and its been broken into 4times. And its not the area because Ive moved 3 times. Everytime I put in a police report, the police officers always say "you got to get rid of this car because its # 1 for theft". Thank god they did the upgrade.

The best car money can buy. Car handles like dream. Cheap thrill. Laughing all the way to the bank (use the difference toward saving at 4.3%). I never believe in the hype of Japasnse cars.

after getting a new rt neon and changing the stock factory junk brakes the car handles fairly well, for cornering and countersteering the suspension is the same as the older neon acers after 10k miles of hard driving and 2 sets of front tires it still handles and feels like new.next car will be the srt4,this was just a wait for one to come down closer to 20

the srt4 is a very fun vehicle. The seats are a bit too much and the exterior is very appealing to the public. The overall feeling of driving this vehicle is very exciting and I look forward in driving the srt4 everyday.

  • Surprisingly reliable - 2004 Dodge Neon

My husband bought this car new before we met. Personally, I wouldnt have figured a Dodge to be all that reliable. But he looked pretty hot in his black sporty car. So I married him! (just kidding, mostly) Im pleased to say this car has been extremely reliable. No major mechanical work - maintenance costs only. The 6 CD changer died after only a couple of years. The hook securing the driver side sun visor broke. We started to get uncomfortable in this car with the arrival of our daughter. Exercise stroller doesnt fit in the trunk. Hard to get baby in and out - have bumped her head countless times. Three adults and a baby is almost excruciating for the adult in the back.

Overall my car was very reliable. The only problem I have had since rebuilding the engine is the power control module in this car which I think is a problem. I was looking for a recall on this but did not find one. Also it could get better gas mileege. I added one of those tornados to the air intake which increased fuel economy by 3 more miles.

  • Leaks and more leaks! - 2004 Dodge Neon
    By -

At 400 miles, my srt was leaking oil due to a factory problem. At 3000 miles I had to replace the axle seal. Im fearing there may be more problems to come, however despite all of the problems, I am totally satisfied performance wise and for the exterior design! Its a good car with a few leaks.

I bought my car on Feb. 5, 2004. It had 15 miles on it when we bought it and I love the way it drives and feels in my hands. I have a baby on the way and I know I can depend on it to be a very safe car to bring my baby home in and to carry her around in.
