  Best Car Ever Owned - 2004 Dodge Neon

  I bought my SRT4 in June of 2003 and since then I have put 12000 miles on it and it is still holding up strong and believe me I drive my car hard. This car for a 4 cyclinder turbo really gets the job done!! I have showed up 2003 Mustang GTs and especially my favorite are the 5.0s they hate to see me pass them ;-). But for the money I spent on this car and what it can do there is nothing like it for the price and not only that I dont see anyone with my car. I LOVE BEING THE ONLY ONE THAT HAS ONE. But to end this on the best note, DODGE FINALLY WOKE UP AND STARTED TO MAKE SOME DETROIT MUSCLE AGAIN!!!

  When I got in the car to test drive it there was 17 miles on the Odometer. I have it home and have run a few errands but need to spend more time with it. I have the alternate (non-viper style) front seats and really like them. I really like the cloth centers in the seats for a more comfortable california summer.

  the only problem i have encountered thus far is the small knobs on the controls when i have gloves on. the gas mileage is fantastic.

  Lots of go power, handles great too at speeds over 90, the honda is a sitting duck waiting to get quacked.

  I was totally sold on this vehicle by the different car magazines that did features on it. I traded-in a 2000 Mustang GT that was putting out around 320hp to the engine and Im looking forward to modifying the SRT-4.

  Can go faster for cheaper - 2004 Dodge Neon

  This car land Dodge smack in the middle of the "Tuner" market. In a scramble for cheap speed, some of the other manufacturers have forgoten just that. For example, your Subarus wrxs and your Mitsubishis lancer evos. You may be able to go faster, but you wont be able to go faster for cheaper. There isnt a car out there in the $20k range that even compares to this little pocket rocket. If you find one, dont hesitate to buy it, as that would be the best buy on the planet. Dodge has also given it one of the longest warranties out there. 7yrs/70k miles. Lets see the competition top that..... Go american muscle......

  As a previous owner of an All Wheel Drive I was skeptical that this car could deliver the grin that I got from my previous car. Boy was I wrong! It only took me once to roll onto the throttle and hear the front tires howl did I realize that this was serious. The reports I find are mostly on the 03 SRT-4 and they all say how wonderful the car is. Granted shes no Evo, but its a close second and with the right goodies added from Mopar it may rival cars in a class above. Overall, supercar for little cash. Maybe the American car companies can build with the best the world has to offer.
