Disappointed - 2004 Dodge Neon
By swtmomma - January 8 - 10:00 amWe have had the car 10 months. In the last 2 months we have had the car back to the dealer because of airconditioning or transmission problems. They are uncertain and have had to bring in a chrysler specialist to help find the problem. This is the 3rd trip back, total days w/o car 15days. When the airconditioner is on the car seems to continuosley hesitate and jerk as if the car is gonna die out. We are afraid to drive anywhere long distance. Cute car, fun to drive, disappointing outcome.

A bulletproof twincam I-4, superstrong transaxle (built in NY, originally designed for turbodiesel Graz-built minivans!) wrist-size halfshafts, beefy brakes, "lasts forever" Quaife diff, real Viper seats, for $20K. Runs 13.8 dead stock, 12s with easy bolt- ons. Remember, these will be built for the rest of 04, a few months of 05, then the partys over. The next geneartion will be a Mitsu/Hyundai conglomeration. Ugh. The last real Mopar from Belvidere, IL. He who snoozes, loses.

For the money this is a superior buy. Even my wife loves the speed and the handling of the car. If you dont own one, you are missing out. This the new King of the road. Oh yeah BMW M3, Havent had the chance yet, but Im confident. *I do not encourage street drags, or Racing.

The little neon that rocks - 2004 Dodge Neon
By JerBear - July 31 - 2:00 amI purchased this vehicle on day while visitng a Dodge dealership with a friend interested in buying a truck. I had no intention of buying a new car. The Neon I bought was on the showroom floor and caught my eye immediately. I asked to sit in it. The dealership did me one better. They gave me the keys and told me to take it home for the night. Needless to say, it never made it back to the showroom floor. i signed the papers the next morning and have enjoyed this vehicled ever since. I pleasure to drive. Comfortable, plenty room, GREAT gas mileage and style is incredibly nice. A REAL nice car!!

By MikedawgSRT-4 - May 1 - 2:00 amWell after considering the Sti, Evo, Mini S, and even the accord v6 I chose to go with the Srt4. I am very happy with my decision. Not only was this car he cheapest, its pretty much the fastest from a roll. The seats are great and I have had nothing but fun with the car. Only gripe is all the ignorant people asking my why I bought a NEON?? Haha. When I step on it in 2nd gear they find out!
