By samanthawade - September 5 - 4:21 pmI just want to start off by saying, this car has been very great since Ive had it. I have had it for almost 2 years. It is a 1999 and it only has 65,000 miles as of right now. The only problem that has happened since, is a leak in the break line, which was a very cheap fix. The car has great MPG and trunk space. I would recommend to an elderly woman or new driver! The only thing I cannot stand about this car is the size. ITS SO SMALL. I am not an extremely large person, but I am not tiny. It is very uncomfortable to drive. I am in the market for a new car because I cant handle how small this car is. I do not recommend this car to anyone who is a little overweight.

My main master seal went out, my head gasket went out Transmission was getting ready to go out when I finally sold the car. I had no problems with the car until it hit 60,000 miles before that point it was a great car.

Save yourself the money - 1999 Dodge Neon
By ugly54 - December 1 - 2:00 amI have had a horrible time with my neon. I have had trouble with the electrical system. The radio is known to turn on by itself without the car even on. The dash board, head lights, etc. will on occasion not work as well. Next, the sunroof stopped working. Finally, the transmission went at 49,000 miles.This is not what I would consider a reliable car.

dodge fan scarred for life - 1999 Dodge Neon
By what a joke - November 23 - 2:00 amthis was the first new car i bought. I have taken awesome care and have always been an avid dodge fan. this car has been a bad joke. it had major electrical problems at one month, a new stereo at two months, a blown headgasket, two major oil leaks one at 38000 just after warrenty and dodge told me" its too bad, those cars all have oil leaks" they wouldnt help at all. the repair of the leaks cost me about 2000.00 total. now it hasa transmission leak, the trunk will no longer open from the inside and the rear doors will no longer unlock with the power locks. What a dissapointment.

Fun car less than poor quality - 1999 Dodge Neon
By LaBron - August 23 - 2:00 amFun driving car, great on the track, great gas mileage. Its got rattles throughout the car and its spent more time in the shop than reasonable. Blown head gasket, warped trim, a/c compressor failure, electric sunroof failure, injectors clogged even on premium gas!! Essentially, if you want fun to drive and reliablitity together you should buy something else.
