The popular Dodge Magnum remains essentially unchanged, but bright trim on the SXT's grille, doors and interior is new. The SXT now comes with standard foglights, and both the SXT and RT now have an optional rear-seat DVD player that flips up from the center console. Eighteen-inch wheels are now optional on the SXT and 17-inch machined aluminum wheels are offered on rear-wheel-drive versions. Later in the model year, the SXT's four-speed automatic transmission will be replaced with a five-speed unit.

  Fast and furious. Way too much power - 2006 Dodge Magnum

  When I first got the vehicle I though about how much I would be paying at the pump but when I got the feel for the car it amazed me how much power it had under the hood. The car really moves it has a lot of power and once you start pressing the pedal it ask for more speed. You’re saying to yourself that’s enough, but no, the hemi engine won’t stop revving until you press the brake. It has so much power it should be illegal to drive. The g-force just rocks your head to the back of your seat. Hold on tight to the steering wheel because the hemi will take over. But you will visit the pump soon.

  Dodge didnt waste any money on bling bling here. Everything you need is covered, but the magic is underneath. The motor is a split personality crazy man. quiet and smooth when you need it to be. Step on the pedal and you are in another dimension. Amazing torque and acceleration(especially for a heavy car). Handles tight and the SRT8 seats are perfection. If you crave attention buy another car- although this car gets a knowing glance from anyone who understands Dodges secret society. Generally you get the glance as you blast past them on straight AND twisty roads. Outward vision isnt great but you gain confidence in your mirrors after awhile. Build quality so far is excellent. Rock on

  Mommys Car - 2006 Dodge Magnum

  I have owned this car for 9 months now. I ordered in January of last year wanting the best hot rod that I could get for my money. What a dream! It goes like stink, looks like nothing else on the road and feels like a Mercedes inside. All of my other cars have been Chryslers except for one foray into the Jetta Wagon TDI. This car tops everything combining the rush of our 600+HP Valiant race car with the luxury of our 73 New Yorker Brougham It handles whether its on ice or gravel, and keeps me comfortable at all times. Once in a blue moon, I even let my husband drive it. I thought of trading it on the SRT8 until I realized that then Id have to put it away for the winter. Not a chance!

  Stunningly elegant vehicle with an aggressive, no-nonsense attitude. Buy the V-8 only: the V-6 is just too frivolous for this big a wagon.

  I find this car to be all the ads say that it would be. I normally dont get excited about cars. I used to sell them. This car is fun to drive, good on gas, and very comfortable. Try it and you will buy it!

  Great Fuel Mileage - 2006 Dodge Magnum

  The fuel mileage has been great. Im getting around 26.5, about any way I drive it. I usually carry weight in back (books). I do Vocational Sales. It really gets the looks and the students like it. Always getting great comments about appearance,or saying, "that thang got a Hemi?" I think my next will be a Hemi, just for the bragging rights. I really enjoy driving it. The 2.7 is getting great economy, but I drove a 3.5 and it has a lot of punch. I havent driven the Hemi. Ive owned several Chysler products over the years and can truly say, I believe each year they get better. Im sold on Chysler.

  I love this car. We were looking at downsizing from our SuperCrew Truck to get better fuel economy, hold our kids and we needed an AWD car/minivan as we live its a snowbelt. We looked at Subaru (Legacy/forester), Chrysler (Pacifica/300C AWD), and several mini- vans. We test drove all the vehicles above and the Magnum RT AWD was the most impressive and best bang for your $. Our AWD Magnum is incredible in the snow & ice like you are on rails. This car is very impressive in both city and highway driving. It is comfortable and smooth driving, very quiet in the cabin and plenty of room for 4 people and luggage! If you like to be noticed this car will do that with many looks & thumbs up!

  We love this car. We had a magnum Rt and when this car came out with the 6.1 we had to go get it. If youre worried about gas then maybe you should buy a Honda, but the braking and performance of this car is outragous. Much better than the rt. Nothing on the street can touch you. The power is unbelievable, you will be impressed. I hope this will help you and make sure you haggle to get that mark up down. They will do it. We got the car for 41 and people were out there paying 60, so make sure you are ready to walk. They wont let you leave.

  Fastest vehicle on the road today besides the Charger RT Hemi. I have both cars and this one handles as good as the Charger. The Mercedez, BMW, the stang, Nissan, or any other car on the road cannot match this car or the Charger for performance, style, speed, or quality... Ive tested all of the above and more and these two cars are the Kings of the road... I blew a vette and 2 stangs off the road and as far as the Mercedez goes, no challenge...

  I love my Magnum. My wife told me that I had to loose the sports car because we had children. I couldnt bare the "m" word. (Minivan) I figured that if I had to loose the sports car, I might as well purchase a family car that hauled some serious tale, and cornered like it was on rails The Magnum is such a wonderful option in a vast sea of the same. The power and handleing are second to none. Not to mention, my fuel economy is wonderful, even with the Hemi engine. No mechanical, quality issues thus far. Very impressive. You really need to check this car out for yourself. It is absolutely amazing.
