  • Love My magnum! - 2005 Dodge Magnum

I bought my car site unseen, never even test drove it. What a chance I took, but there hasnt been one thing about this car that I am disappointed in! I love everything about my car except where and how the cruise control lever is located. I also own a C-5 Vette and I can honestly say I usually choose to drive the Magnum over it. I never thought I’d say that about any other car. The Hemi does justice to its name. Its got the looks, the comfort, and the power I look for in a car. Just dont expect it to get very good gas mileage, but I knew that was the price to pay for pure happiness whenever I get behind the wheel. It is one of the roomiest and comfortable vehicles Ive owned. Plenty of storage.

After years of driving minivans and big SUVs I thought Ill never get used to driving a sedan but I did and I love it. It feels like a sports car (and drives like one) There is lots of room for my 2 kids in the back with car seats, plus enough room if I have to take my German shepherd with me. I wish fuel economy would be better (just a tad better then my Expedition) I love this car

  • FINALLY!!! - 2005 Dodge Magnum

I test drove the RT and the SXT and decided to go with the Special Edition SXT that offered what I was looking for....being a "Grandma". I didnt think collecting speeding tickets with the Hemi would set a good example. I picked it up and drove all day...what FUN..all the comments about people looking and pointing and asking questions are TRUE!!!! I had read and read all the reviews for the past 3 mos.and really wondered if it wasnt just being overrated by everyone..After going 2 miles on the test drive, I was a believer..As the saying goes....Try it, you just might like it! Quiet, QUICK, Sturdy, beautiful...I could go on and on but you need to see for yourself.

I went from a Ford Explorer to a Magnum.

  • Get outta that minivan! - 2005 Dodge Magnum

There is no American built car that can compare to the new Dodge Magnum. You can find a faster car, a better handling car, and a more utilitarian SUV or minivan, but looks and comfort is second to none. What I found so appealing is the ability of one car to do so many things so well. I love to drive the car, use cruise control because its easy to catch yourself going way to fast. The handling is very predictible and safe, but forget about rain and snow. I believe a good set of snow tires would remedy that, but currently no snow tires are offered in that model, so I ended up buying another car for winter driving.

I love the car! It has left a bit to be desired in the efficiency area, but this is the price you pay for power and a heavy foot. Although i still pay even when the foot isnt so heavy. Living in Brooklyn and commuting to Manhattan takes its toll on you in the wallet at the pump. Oh, and whats up with nowhere to put the gas cap. How stupid is that?

  • FAST AS FAST CAN BE - 2005 Dodge Magnum

This is one of the sweetest vehicles Ive driven. Plenty of room and feels like you were shot out of a gun when you walk on it at any speed. Has a nice exhaust note without being intrusive, handles great with a firm but comfortable ride. I guess the styling is love it or leave it as there is nothing out there quite like it. I personaly love it and find I have more compliments and questions from others than I have ever had before, and Ive had a lot of new vehicles. The gas mileage is respectable about 19 MPG with a 50/50 mix of hiway and city driving, going up to 28 MPG on a hiway trip. Winter driving is OK but on glare ice it could use a set of ice radials, which I cant find in this size.

First of all, this car is really good value for its price. but 2.7litle engine is a bit smalll to maneuvers around in the urban area. with your full accelation you will lose A/C power. so I have decided to buy a RT next year. This car is the car which I expect all SUV boomer to come back to old school station wagon style.

Had the Magnum RT for almost 6mos now, and still always getting questions, comments, and thumbs up on the road. This car is as fun to drive as it looks! Made an 8hr trip in 6 1/2 without a single complaint heard from the passengers. The transmission is silky smooth.

  • My Mag RT - 2005 Dodge Magnum

I have had my Magnum Rt for 6 months now and find it is as much fun to drive as the day I bought it. With the engine management system, its gets very good mileage for the engine size. Ive had many compiments about it from strangers and havent found one person that didnt think it is one bad dude!!! It has so many great options I wont even list them here. I had it on a long trip and find it is one of the easiest cars to drive at highway speed. Daimler-Chrysler has hit the mother lode!! I recommend this vehicle highly and believe me, this isnt your dads wagon LOL!!
