  • Watch out. - 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan

This was "leased" as a vehicle for my family to drive. I am a mechanic. What a piece of junk this thing has been for the last 3 years. In 45,000 miles we have been thru 3 sets of brakes, two sets of tires, cant seem to keep suspension components intact, the tie rod ends are junk, the ball joints make noise, it shifts funny, and the ABS system stopped working at 28,000 miles. I am fortunate that we didnt buy this. I feel sorry for anyone buying one of these used, as they are a money pit and a piece of junk. Otherwise the stow and go is great, it tows okay, and was fairly easy on gas. I still hate this car.

  • Needed Space for Family - 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan

I bought this van for space for family. Though Im happy with the space, I was highly disappointed with several features (or lack of features). Stutters and jumps when traveling slow speeds (like in a parking lot). The climate control is horrible. No way to switch between heat and air-you just have to adjust the temp up and down one degree at a time in three different places. No way to turn on just the fan, cool temp means air conditioning. I paid over $500 for remote start but wasnt told the stinkin thing shuts off in 10 minutes--whats the point of that? Console did not close or lock--9 weeks later still not fixed. Mileage only 15- 16 mpg whether in town or on highway. Dont like anything else except the space. Will never buy a Dodge van again.

  • poor - 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan

bought this vehicle with 19000 miles, it has now 44500 miles and water leaks in from driver side and passenger side every time it rains, transmision nose dives when coming to a complete stop. some problems with electric power doors. Would not recomend this vehicle if youlike to use to travel in.

  • Disappointed - 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan
    By -

The battery went dead at 3900 miles and again at 5,922 miles. My first few tanks of gas I only got a little over 10 MPG. Now I only get a little over 13 MPG. Very disappointed with this vehicle. I will never buy another Daimler Chrysler product.

  • This thing is SLOW!!! - 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan

Great for hauling stuff around and and pulling a 12 foot boat around. you can cram a lat of people in it and it is SUPER reliable we got it with 78000 mile and it now has 123000 and nothing has gone wrong with it.

  • They could have done better - 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan
    By -

The comfort of the vehicle leaves alot to be desired. The automatic doors sometimes dont work as they should. With a 3.8 L engine the drive could handle a little bit better. The fuel eff. is good and I like the "Stow-n- Go" seating.

  • Not impressed - 2007 Dodge Grand Caravan
    By -

We love our van because its easy to use with kids. Thats where it ends. Its been in the shop twice for a leaking transmission - the rubber the window on the drivers side falls of if you shut the door too hard. The remote start doesnt work, the transmission clunks when downshifting, the tires are terrible, there isnt enough power and the wing mirrors are fading. We have a total of 14,000 miles now - Not impressed.
