SUV with Style - 2016 Dodge Durango
By Sparky - November 7 - 10:32 pmThe Styling is great. the interior lights and tail lights are great. the headlights are a bit dim compared to my Toyota Corolla and Ram 1500. Seating is great, comfortable, love the heated seats. love the autostart and keyfob for unlocking the doors. I just have to get close and the doors unlock for me as I reach for the door. The climate control auto adjusts. The Navigation SUCKS! I use WAZE instead. I do like the traffic and weather( although it gives me a Danbury weather report not putnam county) The GAS price checker is not very accurate.. still shows HESS and not the new name. In summary, car is great, Uconnect needs work to be more relevant. I was also wondering how they address Security on UCONNECT and was told I would be given a USB drive to update it. Working in IT security, I know there are problems that have still not been fixed on UCONNECT (well unless they can push it down to my car)

Oil leak - 2016 Dodge Durango
By Jason Wood - September 4 - 5:58 amMake sure your not leaking oil from oil pan and rear main seal, got the Durango new with 56 miles the night I got it home it had two different leaks just check before you buy other then that great suv for your family, but Chrysler has been great in fixing the problem and also are offering a refund for the inconvenience so I would definitely recommend this vehicle just check before you buy that way you dont have to go through what I did.

Best Overall Vehicle Ever Owned - 2016 Dodge Durango
By Neil Reid - May 11 - 1:46 amThis is a terrific machine. Looks great, has all the gadgets you want and enjoy, the 5.7 hemi with the 8 speed gearbox is a rocket. Super comfortable, excellent interior, super build quality, feels like a more expensive machine. This is my second Durango and Im very pleased with it. Not the cheapest sticker, but you get what you pay for. Strong recommend for this machine; I have the R/T.

New vehicle - 2016 Dodge Durango
By Sco Stu - April 15 - 9:32 amPurchased a "USED"... yes used 2016 Durango R/T with 65 miles on it (July 2016). With the addition of a second child (we opted for 2nd row captain chairs), our 2013 Audi Q5 3.0T Prem Plus, S-Line just did not have enough interior room. Durango is a nice vehicle for its size. The V8 is a must for the weight of this vehicle. Coming from a supercharged V6 german CUV, my wife could not stand the Dodge V6. The 8sp is smooth. We tested other American SUVs that had the quad captain chairs as options and the Durango ticked all our boxes for satisfaction. We liked the turbo-6 on the Ford explorer but not much else on that vehicle. U-Connect is intuitive, I just hope the touchscreen lasts. I will update later on longevity. Noted....our Audi had 60k miles when we traded and was absolutely flawless....NOT A SINGLE PROBLEM during the ownership.

Happy Durango Owners - 2016 Dodge Durango
By Ricardo Escobedo - December 7 - 11:17 pmOurs is the 3.6l engine version, and it runs just beautifully. I guess Im old school, and all the interior gadgets were almost overwhelming, from the back up camera to the rear proximity sensors, no more backing into hidden signposts or other cars parked behind. Too much to mention, overall, a very happy camper. It also works very well in our 110 plus degree Arizona desert heat.

Like Driving A Building - 2016 Dodge Durango
By DJ - September 25 - 6:54 amI was furnished a 2016 Dodge Durango AWD Limited by my insurance company while my Jeep Compass is being repaired (a tree fell on it). I am amused to no end that the automotive press just RAVES about the Durango while having little good to say about the Compass. Personally, I CANT WAIT to get my little Compass back. The Durango is a mastodon of over-engineered crapola, in my humble opinion. From the stereo I cant shut off to the engine that shuts off every time I stop, this ranch house on wheels is a Chinese water-torture of constant annoyance. It seems to run "okay", but it handles like an aircraft carrier. I checked online, and it looks like the going price for Durangos like my rental is about $40K, which Ive seen described as "reasonable". I think its absurdly overpriced.
